Jen LyonsExactly. It was kind of a shock, since the others were so much easier.

RaymondEver since the Developers 'fixed' sending help requests I have had issues with it. No more so then during this Halloween event. I have NEVER had any friends able to help with things like the Disturbing Table. I also have a day or more delay when special things like the Bats, which just came out, before I can get anyone to appear in that filter. And yes, none of my BW friends appear in the 'All' filter at all until they also appear in the BW Player filter which will be tomorrow night for me. What a rip off this event has been. Totally buggy in a dozen ways.

Jen LyonsI'm enjoying this event much more than say, the one with the carnival games which I didn't bother trying to finish, but I agree that the new request system is no fun. While I don't have trouble sending requests, it's frustrating trying to decide what kind of requests to send and to how many people, plus the request screen takes forever to load to the point where I can click on "Game Players" and then more time to actually click on names, and then sometimes waiting for them to highlight...Oh well. I will always miss the BW1 methods, I suppose.

heppigirlEvents ALWAYS had a time period between sending out requests.
All I've heard is whine whine whine this all sucks blah blah blah. EVERYONE has to wait 20 hours between sending out lots of requests. You have 2 days per creature, and you only need 5 creatures. It doesn't take much thinking to realise... right, tomorrow is new creature day. I will not send other requests to 5 or 8 people who are most likely to send me things so they are free for this. NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! If you can't figure it out, you should still be getting parental permission to play on facebook anyway. I think what the forum needs most desperately is an ignore button so we don't have to listen to the constant whine and abuse. Don't make me use the 'Z' word again! |

Jen LyonsAnna, there's no need to get upset. I don't mind having a waiting period between requests (just like energy requests). It's just have more than one thing to request (help with spooky coffin, or cats?) that requires more planning than I really want from a game that normally relaxes me. Of course, the slow loading times, etc. on the request screen are separate issues, but do make it suckier.

heppigirloh Jen, you've not been whining repeatedly since the moment the event started. I didn't mean you :) Apologies if you thought I did.

Jen LyonsThanks, Anna. I do know I whine a bit, since I'm still adjusting to BW2 (very much enjoying the BW1 event, but I understand if they needed some room to grow). I think whining, if it includes constructive criticism, does help the developers, especially with a new game. They can learn and adjust events or the game in general if they see that a large number of people are unhappy. If nobody says anything, they will just wonder. On that other hand, as you pointed out, sometimes people complain about anything, and that happens in every game.

heppigirlOh I'm all for constructive criticism! I think the difference is when it's 'this sucks, I hate this, I'm quitting, DON'T GIVE THE DEVELOPERS MONEY!!! etc. I've done that (there's a lot of bad developers who are very transparent with their top priority being milking players for as much cash as they can (I'm looking at you Zynga and gourmet ranch devs), but at least *I* stuck to my word and did quit the game!

Jen LyonsI agree with you there. These guys listen, and there is at least one other FB developer I trust as much (also a small company), and obviously they can't make everyone happy all the time (since we all play the game differently) but they try.

Shane JohnsCorrine, It appears that 2 candy per kid doesn't change regardless of scariness.
I wouldn't expect it to either as the Devs usually calculate the rewards to last for 80% of the event time. They don't want people finishing too fast. |

Vanessa Lea Hornehas any one had the same problem i have, since starting this event every time i send out requests (doesn't matter weather for the event or not) my game automatically resets an goes back to loading again. this never happened before the event so am wondering if it can be fixed . i realize not every one will have this problem as a few of my friends dont but i know of at least 2 others who are besides myself
