Someone on a FB group mentioned that no matter where the mana points her, she can't dig. When she uses the mana again, it points her in a different direction completely. Last I heard, she filed a support ticket and will keep us/me updated.

I go out of area then back in...I stand in the middle of quarry field & start there...I use mana till I find a good mark ?? then use mana again till I find the ?1..& then use power whack...voila ..It takes me 3 whacks ..at the most to get items I want. Sometimes,,I get lucky & get 1 right off the bat which has happened manyyy timesss.I even got items on the grass area of the quarry which I find weird..But I do ??.Just keep at it.. ...just saying...what I do... I use the Fossil Bag 50% to find diggergy faster.BUT I still keep the bag in trinket slot when digging..To me it make a diff....just saying..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but equipping The Bag Of Fossils [which helps you find 50% more Diggergy] would have no effect when digging in the Quarries, because you can't dig up Diggergy, you can only get it from whacking bushes.

The description says odd with Diggery, if it said odds for Diggergy I would think it was for what you said. Diggergy drops quickly, so it makes since to me to have a trinket for items odds instead of Diggergy. Just my 2 cents on the subject.

I know what you both mean...just was not thinking hahaha. I know it isnt for digging...just whacking.. for diggergy....:)But I still keep it in my trinkets when in quarries..it seems to help me....just saying..

Yep, the trinket reads odds to win Diggergy, which means thats the energy we need to recharge our Geo-Pick, and we can't dig for it. We must whack bushes for it. @Armymom, It really would be nice if it was for 50% greater odds to dig up items, but unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case.

For example if I get a ?? I use mana again, then use power at the end of the trail. If the mana trail is long I dig at the end of the trail and repeat the process. Pretty close to how Barbara has described. Diggergy is used with each dig so I use mana to guide my next move so I don't use up diggergy as fast. If I am understanding you are using it twice without moving. If so, it's pointing you in the direction of two different treasure spots. Use mana once then follow the trail. Use mana again depending on what result you get. (edited)

This one is after using mana - https://prnt.sc/je7nii I circled the end of the trail where I hit next. Sometimes I will hit where the dot before the end of the trial is to see if I will need to use power next. That is what I did here but couldn't go fast enough to get a pic of the ?! (or !?, which ever order for the picky) I switched to power and hit at the end of the mana trail - https://prnt.sc/je7nu0 and got two quest items.

I know for me it's easier if I am able to see how something is done. Raymond, I guess I could use my phone to do a video. I have seen other games recorded by phone and it's not the best quality. I had forgotten that about YouTube, I have it and logged into it on my phone. I haven't added any programs (apps) on this laptop yet. I had a video capture on my old one, can't remember what the name of it was.
