Make them useful.. i got pet from mad scientist after those 16 A-bars .. now i see him tht he pretends to whack a bush by the laserbeam...
Y dont u add this feature : pet needs to whack like 1 thing each time and use no energy for you ..
so when we use speed boots, with pets we can hv 1/6 of energy save.. and maybe Devs can decide wht pet can whack which lvl of pet.. something like tht ... RObot do whack upto lvl 10-lvl 16 bush (just eg)

Tell me wht u think guys..

The pet whacks one bush or monster per quick whack using YOUR energy. Other than that, they are jsut decorative and if you don't like them or they get in you way, park them in your inventory.

This is just mean, I too know many useless Pat's, Lol.
I love the idea of it being a 1/6 reduction n whacking cost (quick or mana) and yes I think it should also be for mana even though the pets (pats lol) don't come into play for that.
I have also thought that Hats, Belts, Glasses and Capes should have some character 'enhancement' ability as the Inventory kind of suggests they might have in the future.

Harsh: Please give Monica the benefit of the doubt. I think she was trying to be helpful and clarify what exists now.

It is too easy to misunderstand motives on a message board. Personally I try to look for any reason to have fun here and apologize if my post about the pat/pet thing was in poor taste.

Feature Request is Feature Request and many of us like Harsh know how to use these boards correctly.
But wasn't it Monica who just the other day was giving someone a hard time for trying to be the Forum Police.
What a hypocrite.

Actually she asked very politely... I think I was the one that was tipping towards snarky

It's all right Rebecca, I'm used to it. Actually, I didn't notice it was Feature requests when I responded because I use 'view new posts', not the index. Not a hypocrite, just inattentive and I apologize for raining on Harsh's parade (and I dispute Raymonds assessment. I do know how to use forums correctly, I repeat, this is NOT a fortum. There are no topic variations to be found).

When I use 'show new posts' I know what headings these, all these, posts are from. I guess I know how to read.

I guess we are all OT ... lol... and in the "wrong" forum. If I were the forum "police" I would port this entire thing to the General area OR maybe I would make a snarky area

and ... I am so glad this is a game and intended for fun....

so Back to the topic. I like all of Harsh's ideas. I would love to have a pet that decreases the energy i have to use. I think its a great idea. I also like Harsh's idea that pets give level specific help.

can't we all just get along? ;-} You three crack me up--I like seeing the new posts just so I can see who's being snarky today. At least someone eventually backs off--just like most families. I like how the snowman rotates his "torso" to whack things...other than that, I agree with Harsh--the pets aren't that exciting, so I usually keep them parked, except for for Frosty. Happy whacking!!

OT
Ruth... now what gets you thinking that we aren't getting alone < whistles innocently > honest truth here is that I like Monica and Raymond and Harsh... haven't found a character here I don't like. And I do like to be a character... or is that "avatar"

me too...they seem like decent folk. It seems that you, Monica, Raymond, Harsh and Melody are the "constants" of the forums. It's great--when I need an answer, invariably one of you have already answered it...and Raymond has corrected you with game stats! Keep it up, everyone...it's like being a bystander at Cheers, listening to the banter... ;-}

And you want to improve the pets? Now why would you do that, you'll never get any work done. Ruth, Raymond, Melody and I have been here forever, along with a bunch of other folks who have either left or will wander in once in a while. Raymond is like the crotchety old uncle you invite for Christmas, Melody is the sane one who tries to ignore us all and I am the angelic looking troublemaker who likes to poke the bear :)
