Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted June 18th 2013 at 9:13 AM Raymond Ah, now I see why I can't buy the Cool Toque Hat, its 75,000 gold, but on my netbook it shows, or showed up as 5,000. Did its price go up when it was offered by the hat girl as opposed to the father/son store team?

At first I thought it said 15,000. That explains everything. It will be quite a while before I manage to keep 75k just sitting around. At least now I have trinkets that help me replace my gold when I have to spend it.

Lvl 230 "Reverse Grinch" 36 Posts	Link to post - Posted June 18th 2013 at 1:20 PM Marsha Couturier the bushwhacker 1 arena NEVER worked for me EVER! and yes i have tried a different computer, multipul computers actually, both at home and at work, and nothing. no island for me. so i have already pretty much given up on using it like i did with the arena in bw1. so now i just want to know how to clear the quest icons from the top of my game screen, i dont need them there if i cant do the quests...

But it had worked for at least 2 years before it broke. Here are my Arena stats which got me all the Arena Custom Items in perhaps a month and perhaps hundreds of extra arena tokens: Ranked Arena Wins 37 Ranked Arena Losses 1,873 Ranked Arena Draws 47 Friend Arena Wins 101 Friend Arena Losses 12 Friend Arena Draws 3 Arena Disconnects 129
Lvl 230 "Reverse Grinch" 36 Posts	Link to post - Posted June 18th 2013 at 1:33 PM Marsha Couturier ya, like i said, like 3 pages ago, i have been playing bw1 for along time,4 yrs at lest, and the arena never worked for me. and now the island dosnt work, there are no players on the island, cant do any quests after the first one, (treasure hunt) and now have quest icons for watering flowers, lobster traps, and seashells, and can tdo the quests...when i click the "room" icon in the chat bar NOTHING happens., i have tried playing on multiple computers, and it never works..

But every time I have been to the Island I get the same quests: 52 coconut pick up, 32 sea shells, and 15 south sea stingrays. So I haven't been back for two days now...got boring. Didn't know about any 'stats or achievements' until Raymond's posts! I'll have to check them out now - and my fishing stats...since it takes my bait. @Noemi - I purchased the pink shirt & red shirt, but cannot find them in my inventory anywhere. Now the tailor/merchant is gone so I can't mouse over another shirt for details. Wish I had known before I wasted so much gold on nothing useful.

The first 'different' set was today. Marsha, like I said several pages ago, have you tried a different computer or browser? Possibly on a different network. Go to a public library if you have to. Something in your setup, your firewall, your router/switch is preventing these things from working for you. Or just keep on trying the way you have (if your answer was 'no') and keep on hoping for something to change, it never will unless you do something to make it change.

I can't talk to any npc off the island because game still thinks I have to lei everyone (and the pigs as well). I turned it in before trying to rope the pigs but still forced me to lei them first
Lvl 356 "Little Kid Scarer" 18 Posts	Link to post - Posted June 18th 2013 at 10:13 PM Ced Rick same here... I had to catch 5 pigs but most of them took the leis. The third quest is to deliver 5 drinks but noone wants any except one guy... I have 4 drinks that I cannot deliver :(

Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted June 19th 2013 at 3:26 AM Raymond BIG BUG fishing on amicus island does not add into achievements other then the fishing up energy ones. if I'm going to be inflicted with having to fish 4 out of every 5 days I want it to count, or i want it to be free and not cost bait(gold), one or the other...
Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted June 19th 2013 at 7:24 AM Raymond well, it seems like there is more then a ten minute delay between any incrementing of fishing casts, fishing gold, and fishing junk in the Achievements, but an instantaneous incrementing of fishing energy in the very same achievements. All specifically when doing it on amicus island of course.

We're also aware of the Lei bug and will be fixing it! @ Jean - They're in your character customization window, not your equipment - just click on the cog in your profile and start scrolling through. @ Marsha - The fact that you can't connect to chat and the fact that you can't connect to Amicus are likely related. Has chat ever worked for you? There are a few people that chat has never worked for which seems to be related to their own connection.

Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted June 19th 2013 at 10:45 AM Raymond I can say that there are many computers I play on in the course of a week that the regular chat consistently doesn't work on specific ones of those, I know its related to their firewall settings. But I hav experimented and have gotten to amicus island on some of those, perhaps have not had any of those quests to process at those times though. The inability to regular chat doesn't bother me since I really only have time to chat when I'm home and on any of a number of my own computers where it just about always works. I'll try to see if I can gather configuration information from as many of those computers as possible just to give people an idea of what to change.
