MarkAm I the only one having a ridiculous time getting this puzzle completed? When the casino first came out I was able to win the puzzle pieces after a bit of time, around half an hour or so. I only played sporadically on Topaz Dreamz, betting 10 citrine at a time. Recently however, it has been increasing difficult to win anything of value. Tonight alone, I spent close to an hour and over 1000 citrine and didn't win a single puzzle piece. They came up but only matched two of three; this happened six times. I know it's only a game but it's quite frustrating. Have the odds of winning changed since the casino opened? Also, similar to actual slot machines, I personally would like it better if they didn't spin individually as much but rather all locked in to their final results all at once. When you're grinding the slot machines, those extra 4-5 seconds get tedious. Thanks and looking forward to others feedback.

Matthew KliparchukI want to say RNG when it comes to the pieces but it could be designed to be harder to complete the Amicus puzzle the more u complete it.

Raymondi don't think it knows whether you have done a puzzle before, it's just very hard, perhaps harder then a jackpot prize to get any puzzle pieces (even though it shows as not jacckpot level).
I have never completed one puzzle but several people have completed a dozen or so in the first month or so. I haven't even gotten a single puzzle piece (actually 10x) in the last whole month and over 1,000 spins. I'd say something is wrong. But the supposed price is perhaps worth it. |

Darcy Legarei won two puzzles by playing the topaz dream machine at the beginning and found it fairly easy to get the puzzle pieces, but now i am also finding it almost impossible to get anything at all. i also find the prize in the chest for completing the puzzle is always the same, and not anything new. the prize is 5 vials of colored powder, and 10 bushbucks, not sure if i will even bother trying it any more.

Athena/Wolfsbane/Arcane VengeanceLast Edited August 24th 2014 at 10:38 AM I have only ever won ONE piece. I play all the time. Spend gems & tons of coins (which gives me more gems that I need). I just figured it was meant to be a long term goal. I occasionally spend Island tokens & Bushbucks.

Jean DavisI have only won a total of 3 pieces, and very, very few prize tokens. I usually win pieces on the Island token machine - no matter what I spend on the other machines.

deblev53I was going to stay away from the casino, but then gave up and played. It didn't take more than a couple weeks to finish the puzzle and the prizes were well worth it. Tokens also came easily, but now, after a month, I've got 7 puzzle pieces and 11 tokens. Big change in the drops from the first couple weeks. Think it's time to stay away for a month or 3. :)

RaymondLast Edited August 25th 2014 at 11:43 AM they have said, specifically Justin has said, that they have never once changed the odds of something in this game, and specifically one time he said that was in reference to the casino puzzle pieces.
And I believe that just as much as everyone else who has personally experienced NO PUZZLE PIECES AT ALL in over 6 weeks. |

Mark@Raymond - I guess what they are saying may be true but according to the Law of Large Numbers, if someone was playing somewhat consistently over six weeks, there would be a very high probability to earn puzzle pieces. So I think I would be leaning towards the odds that the win rate percentage has more than likely been tweaked since the casino's inception. Either way, I guess that's the risk one takes while gambling.

TommyRipzI have completed 5 puzzles in the past couple of months. Havent played in the casino as much in the last week so can't get a feeling for the perceived change in odds.

Darcy Legarei have been playing fairly consistently at the casino and i have found that the odd have definitely been lowered no matter what the developers say.i could usually finish a puzzle in a week to 10 days playing the topaz machines at 10 per spin. now i have been playing for over a week and have not won a single puzzle piece. all of the odds on every single "major" win has fallen to almost zero. i don't know why they would drop the odds of winning a machine to such impossible odds and then say they have not changed the odds. i could see it if only one or two people were reporting this to happen, but it seems to be every single player here. not sure if i will even bother with this aspect of the game if they are going to change the odds at the drop of a hat.
