So you've just released new pets, hooray! Except I've just started on a brown rat, so I'll have to wait nearly a week until I can start a new pet, and close to two weeks before I can actually use the new pet - because the Powers that Be have decided that the brown rat is too rare to abandon, even though I don't want it.

Similarly, if memory serves, the reason we can't sell old event items is because they are limited and we can never get them again. Never mind that I don't like decorating my ranch, I don't care much for the event items, and I would never *want* to get them again - I can't get rid of them because it has Been Decided that I might want them some day.

I don't like having these decisions made for me. I would be much happier if we got a big warning instead - e.g. "Are you really sure you want to abandon hatching your pet? This pet is now limited, and you may never get another chance!" or "Are you super duper sure you want to sell this item? You cannot get another one!"
