Jennifer ChangI'm a BW1 player. Now we're here in BW2. I played out BW1 to its fullest and have nothing to show for it. The game's over. And the gamemakers won't exchange money or tokens.
I'm just wondering if any other players have considered calling it quits. I don't want to do it because I'm at max - there's nowhere I can go - but I think I'm doing it. Jumping off and quitting. Kisses. |

RaymondI'll say here what I said on a game that I played that did end.
You don't play a game to 'get anything' from it other then the enjoyment you got for days, weeks, months or years you played that game. If you got no enjoyment then why did you play? I hope you didn't pay into a game you don't like playing. If you didn't pay in then you can't expect to exchange any 'free' currency. Even if you paid into the game then you paid to have fun, not to get anything out of it. You can quit all you want, we don't need people with attitudes like yours. P.S. Congrats on getting to max. This must be your first time. I have gotten to max 7 times while others have gotten to max up to 12 times, new areas come out all the time one could say. And in a week or 2 we will all be heading to the yet again new max in a new area. The game IS NOT OVER, and is far from being over as the Developers have said there is at least a whole new continent and that has 4 or 8 whole zones, and that means 1 or 2 years of play. |

Marci WilsonThis game is in no way BW1.. that game DID end and had no where else to go, other than to BW2 in order to continue as the story progressed into a new universe. In this game, the developers built it in such a way as it is sustainable and they can continue to built upon the storyline... BW1-not so much.
I have played MANY many games over the years.. this one has easily become on of my favorites BECAUSE the devs keep introducing new areas and release new content regularly. Another game that I used to play (and was a player moderator on the forum) became very frustrating because the devs gave up. They stopped releasing new content, they had designed a game model that made it almost impossible to expand, so after time it became more of a glorified farming game. Their original concept was awesome, however they stopped improving the game..numbers fell off... Anyhooo.... that isn't happening here. After I hit max level, it was all I could do to get through the new material that these devs kept releasing just so I could finally get to the flux. Until you have collected all the achievements, been to all the SBAs,etc, there is still so much to do. Just because you max out doesn't mean the party is over. |

Ruth OrozcoI totally agree with Raymond and Marci (and do the same thing as Jo to get DJ Arts tokens)...the game is for fun, a silly pastime that occasionally will strain your brain with puzzles, I haven't been interested in decorating my house, even...just whacking away and making progress. I've maxed out many times and ended up in the flux a few times--now I save my SBA's so I spend less time in there. If you feel you must quit, that's too bad--hope you come back cuz the urge to bushwhack is uncontrollable!!
And to really answer your question, yes I've been tempted...so I take a break for a day or two or just whack one bush to keep my "days in a row" accomplishment going... |

RaymondRuth, some time ago the consecutive days daily reward was changed.
My niece might play once a week, and say last week was day 41, this week would be 42, skip 3 or 4 days and the next time in would be 43. The consecutive days now is a meaningless triviality, not a loyalty reward. Someone must have complained upon losing it. Or more likely this was done to possibly fix that one persons error where the number of consecutive days was actually greater then the total number of unique days (something that should be impossible). |

Ruth Orozco@Raymond--I do remember reading a couple people's complaints about that a while back. And to be honest, I screwed it up last September when I moved and didn't have internet for a week or so and it reset my count! After playing just about every day for the last, what, 3 years between BW1 and BW2? That irked me because I lost that achievement for being like 4 hours too late (had to take laptop to library, cafes, etc). Oh well, as I said before, it's just a game...thanks for letting me know, though!

RaymondI too messed it up a long time ago. My 594 unique days includes perhaps a few days beta testing in early April 2012, but I didn't start the game till out of the hospital in July 2012. I then, still with 2-4 medical tubes in me visited relatives in Delaware and slpet on their sailboat a few days, didn't play any facebook games at all but could have, just didn't want to.
I do now wonder if the spread of 9 days between those 2 stats will ever change, don't think so as I said above it appears that skip a day or many days and when you come back the consecutive will not get reset and will increase by the one day you just came back in and so will the unique days. |
