Lvl 371 "Finder-outer" 579 Posts	Link to post - Posted March 23rd 2014 at 9:12 AM Ruth Orozco for all you tech-savvy players...I am contemplating buying an I-pad air (but one of the earlier generations to save money). Mainly for traveling, cuz my laptop just gets too heavy and cumbersome. So, the question is, will I be able to play BW2 on it? Raymond,I know you have had problems with your notebook, but is that different than the I-pads? Any info would be helpful before I make the purchase!

The biggest problem was harvesting. I 'hit' the tractor and the tablet instantly 'locked-up'. I think only an expensive tablet or a laptop can run BW 2 comfortably.

There are apps which allow you to get around this, but we do not officially support/develop with them in mind. That being said, they are fantastic if you do a lot of travel and don't need to lug a machine around for work. I have a MS Surface which I use primarily for work, but it's light enough that I carry it and my iPad (along with my 3DS and other gear) whenever I travel!
