I may be color blind, but all kinds of the runes I have seen for gold are one color, and all power are another color, and gems are another color, and fruit are yet another color, and mana has its own color. BUT the grand rune of mana does not in any way match the color of all the other kinds of runes. Not sure where I got it, I think I must have crafted it but am unsure why I didn't also craft a gold one and others...

I can't be totally sure when I say 'all' above, I specifically mean small, and scavenged, and medium, and large, and pristine runes, and even augmented runes of one type have one color. I currently only have the one grand rune and its color is different then its bast type, and actually is different from any of the 5 types, gold, gems, mana, fruit and power.

And I'm not sure about the various different kinds of runes of the gambler I have had as I used those up. Do not at all remember what color those were.

gamblers come from the weekly bonus.
pristine comes from some satchels. scavenged of course come from the rune guy's quest.
small, medium and large can be found in bushes or manufactured (I have not made and 'unnatural' regular runes).
grand are made only like grander and grandest too.

I have since made 2 other grand runes, their colors match others of their kind i.e. my grand rune of gold is gold, and my grand rune of gems is the same color as other gems runes, its only the mana one that is, how do i put it, a different color, a different shade, more dull as opposed to brilliant like other mana ones... I'm talking about the color of the squiggle, not the overall color, or shape, of the rune.
The color of the runes themselves (not the squiggles) are kind of different, like the shape of grands I imagine its for that purpose and of less concern to me then the COLOR of mana, as you put it blue. Grand runes of mana, the one I have, is kind of a very dull, noticeably different even to my colorblindness, different blue.
I will try to put up a photo of this as soon as I can.

grand family of mana, and the +max mana are the same... and related to the lesser mana in colour, but yes not exactly the same. in fact all grands are slightly different shades of the lesser 5 main runes.
