XP to level up

I see, that XP needed to level up under lvl 20 is similiar, for example: 17--->18: 2339 XP 18--->19: 2690 XP 19--->20: 3094 XP My question is: Why to level up from 20 to 21, we need 14232 XP ? It's huge diffirence and it is way too much.

But in BW (made by the same devs), they would have areas that they weren't quite ready to open yet so they would set huge requirements on them. I'm wondering if they aren't quite ready for people to go above 20. I could be completely off base. But, that was a thought I had. Congrats!

It is a "soft" cap in so much that if you are highly motivated you can try and get past it... but the requiremed xp will drop when next content is released. -David
40 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 11th 2012 at 9:40 AM Mateusz Treasure Ok, I though about that:) So now there is another question: If my Guardian (lvl 20) gets for example 10000XP and you will add new level cap, will he level up by 2-3 levels (based on new requiremed XP) or these 10000 XP will be removed?

But only to the next level, it will be as though that guardian had a really long level, excess xp will not carry to further levels. -David
