I always was kinda disturbed by not knowing what rewards I get sometimes, when opening big chests or sometimes windows are in the way of seeing the rewards, the only way to know is a popup message with the items you've recieved (runes or so) and once the two seconds are over when that message is there you'll never find out what the reward was unless you've memorized all the items in your bag and can pick out whats new.
Now with teh satchel especcially: Gems get mentioned, but yesterday i picked up a satchel and by the time i'd closed my questwindow there was nothing there anymore, no pop-up had appeared. Very disturbing, had the feeling I did the whole quest for nothing.

SO what I'm trying to say is: I'm missing something HUGE in this game, that is at the same time quite simple: An event message. Idea here is to make some sort of transparent window where, whenever you gain xp, gems, runestones, gold or any other item, appears inthere. It would not need to be visible at all times, but when clicking on the "history" button, you can open up this window where all the items you got will be in. You can also in the options check what you'd like to see, for instance no gold, or no xp if you'd wish. So each item category gets its checkbox in the options.
Items should be mentioned in clusters: For example, when i hit one bush and get 5 gold, then it says gold x5. When i quickwack and hit a field of 5xgold, it shouldnt spam me, but it should say gold x35.

I think that will be a great improvement, especcially with the satchels, I can see screenshots appear already of recieved items from the satchel, Elephant Pet x1 :) But without the history button to see what you got that's quite difficult, even if a pet probably gets the 2 second popup, one would need to have their finger on prntscrn constantly when recieving a satchel :P


Next suggestion is a smaller one: Puzzles.
I've played an online jigsaw not long ago, and I noticed something that would make BW puzzles even more exciting: They had a "click" for dropping a puzzle wherever you dropped it, even if it was in the wrong spot. You really had to solve the puzzle honestly then, not just hovering pieces and randomly dropping them and it'll get solved. Also once you dropped such a piece in a spot, you could always pick it up and move it again, even if it was in the correct spot. I think that would be great here because people can now aswell solve the puzzles perfectly without actual puzzling at all.. which is i'm sure not something you want.

as for puzzles. I'd like to be able to, after a puzzle is solved, to turn on or off or toggle something like invisible edge lines. for example the puzzles go from the long time 30 pieces to 36 in the Mines, I remember smaller ones, 9 12 and 15 come to mind but when I go back tp the Mysterious Forest and look I can't tell, and the wiki is missing sizes of puzzles say from before the Swamp. similar wiki incompleteness in some Nate and Kaine adventures, but all SBA's sizes are in there, that's nice. I hate not having a #puzzles and #puzzle pieces collected Achievement/Profile number like in bw1.

as for the improvement in the satchel result display, I mentioned this in chat to Ken but want it here 'permanent' vs the ephemeral nature of there in chat.
the half a second display of that is just not enough, I have benn distracted a few dozen times and missed what the results were, so how about having it stay until until yoy click an ok button?

Lynna -First of all, I would like to say thank you for your feedback. I have recently heard several requests for a play history or alternative way to double check what items were received from a quest, and the Quester's Satchel has brought to light old requests for a play history. I will inquire about the possibility of implementing such a feature.
As for puzzles, it is not likely that any changes to them will be made but your idea has been noted.

Raymond - I went through the links you posted here and will follow up on what the current status of those old requests. I will renew the question of adding a play history to the game and will let you know the answer.

as for the click to close, it appears that's been implemented, at the time a few hours ago I hadn't had any quests since our conversation in chat yesterday.
