I'm being prompted to ask if this is also something that the Developers looked at and decided to not do but also not tell us it's never going to happen.

prompted by my own seeing of just how communicative the Developers have been.

Raymond, anybody who asked about the arena after we came to the decision (which was a recent decision) was informed that we are no longer actively working on the arena. We don't generally announce things like that, but we particularly didn't want to announce it because if we happen to discover the source of the bug we would fix it.

We have been honest with anybody who asked that it is no longer a priority just because of how difficult it has proven to be. We would still like to fix it, but hours of labour which could be going to making new BW2 content were going to troubleshooting the arena. We had to make a choice.

Regarding the countdown timer, you're going to have to actually explain which timer you're requesting. I'm going to guess it's the daily task countdown timer, in which case it's still marked as a potential future update, but I have no ETA to offer you.

Thanks.
I had not seen any of the informing you have given others, well perhaps that's by pm or other private means.

By timers I mean on anything and everything that has a time limit. Including but not limited to:
Helping friends plantings.
Being able to ask for energy again if your limit of asking has been passed for the day.
Farm, hermit, store, amicus and pet quests.
When your next 'daily' loyalty will occur.
Event Quests.
Can't think of any others at this juncture which is why I just said 'not limited to'.

i have a suggestion about a timer, how about when hovering the Energy bar, having a timer to roughly tell how much time it take to replenish the energy to full capacity? I saw other FB games have this feature.

Raymond some people play this in 800 x 600 they don't have the room for all those timers.

And is it really that difficult to remember it yourself? If I want to remember something that has priority I note it down on paper. Or even set an alarm on my phone. I personally "hate" (to big of a word really) when games make it easier. This game already is a walk-in-the-park but your suggestions make it more of an walk-in-the-park-while-parents-hold-your-hand.

All those things you mention have a 20 hour cooldown. Often repeated in the chat so if there are new players they will learn it in the chat (most new players leave it open for information).

i'm on team request a timer. i think if you approach a NPC who normally gives quests and you talk to them, they should say "i'm sorry but you have xx minutes left before my quest is ready".

the problem is that not all quests are ready at the same time and not all quests take the same amount of time to complete. eg, currently my commons quests are 12 hours earlier than my quests on amicus isle. now both of those are different than my energy pack timer, fortunately my packs and energy baskets are on the same timer.

i appreciate the 20 hour timer to reset quests, but at times I wish the quests/packs/baskets reset once a day on the server, say midnight, so that at any point in the day I can complete all my quests at the same, and then not worry about co-coordinating my full energy with no quests to complete.

Ben I many times play this on a screen even smaller then that. And these timers wouldn't take up any space whatsoever because they are tooltips like say the description of a hat when you hover your mouse over it.
And yes it is too hard to remember, I don't know about you buy I do not have an alarm clock that has 10 or 15 different set points.
Put it on paper, sure in this day and age that's a plan, and I can tell you that I am all over the place, with and without my netbook or laptop so doing it digitally is also not an option since I use many computers that are not even mine. And you might say 'then how about the cloud', well I grin and bear logging into facebook on foreign computers, I wouldn't want to log into even more places...

Jason, I like having different things to do at different times, I actually would hat it if I had to do everything all at once. And I'd think that is no fun. I only coordinate my energy packs with my Pet quest, nothing else, and it's of my own choosing.

Joe, I like your idea, but that's something I already do. I know my increment and period so I know my rate. I know my max and can see what I have so I know how much is left to 'earn', and its simple math to get how long that will take.

Raymond: It's been happening during my time in chat so that's probably why, haven't seen you in chat in ages.

Re: Timers, the issue with this is not so much that we don't want to create timers for things and more that we aren't sure where we can fit this into the UI. We don't want to make the game too cluttered or disorient players who are new to the came by burying them in information.

Joe: Hm, an interesting suggestion! I'll add that to my list! Thanks!

like I said it does not have to be on screen like the planting timer, it could be a tooltip like thing like the energy pack timer. so no additional screen clutter
