Summer is fast approaching in Bushwhackia, and the kids and coaches of the Commons want to get a head start on the sports season! Find sports supplies and bring them to the coaches that will appear in the Commons event area over the next few days. There are also quests to do and custom items to buy, and you can cheer on the kids as they practice in the playing field. This event will run until June 14h at Noon PDT! Ribbons and trophies will be awarded after the event ends. Good luck!

Got my 10-count of supplies, but it still won't let me ask for help or turn then in. I don't know how many I have of each since soccer balls are the only thing showing in Inventory.

It will let me turn in supplies when I have 30-40 items.

ADD: Also when I went to select Game Friends/Recently Played, it pulled up a list of people that are no longer game friends nor do they play BW2.

I can't help but wonder if when the coach asks for 'sets of supplies' there has to be a pairing of water bottles AND soccer balls in order for a set to be turned in.

Seems to me that "soccer supplies" is a generic description and it doesn't matter whether it's balls or bottles. I think the ball showing in the inventory is a red herring and it counts for all the supplies you've collected. Anyone else think this?

and 15 to win at AAA

I've noticed that you cannot turn in items if you have exactly 10 of them. If you have 11, then you can turn in 10. Was this intentional?

Thanks Raymond for updating the information. I was going to put them in when I turned in more.

I had guessed about 50 when I did them earlier.

I got it from the wiki, not from counting, someone else did that.

Something bugs me about this event. After getting all the event items, trophies appear for purchase. For purchase with bushbucks no less. I dont recall this ever being the case in previous events(correct me if I'm wrong). I would assume they are available only during the event as well. Now, I know a lot of people (me included) like to play the completionist way, getting everything from everywhere. However all 4 trophies require a total of 96 bucks to get them all. And that's just for one event. I dont like this model one bit. All it does is make people feel forced to spend bucks if they play the game the way that I do. If this becomes common practice I know for a fact I will be annoyed.

Now dont get me wrong, I get the devs need ways to make a buck and I have personally purchased items requiring bucks before. The problem is the TIMED items available for bushbucks. That gives the feeling of constraint. A better way would be adding items to the general real cash store if certain conditions are met (like winning the AAA championship during the event, as is in this case) so that the player feels no time constraint to spend real cash on things in order to keep their perfect collection going.

There are several items in the past that have only been available for purchase with bush bucks and only available for a limited time. These items are extras and in no way affect your outcome of the any of the special events. They are only customization items. Their only purpose is for decoration.

With regard to the trophies during this event, they only become available to purchase once you have already traded tokens for all the customization items that count toward the achievement AND once you have won the title for that particular sports event. They are optional. One thing to keep in mind is that once you have accomplished the mission of assisting all four teams to AAA Championships, you gain a title without having to purchase a trophy for bush bucks. Unless you are a serious collector and have several visitors to your ranch per day that will see these trophies, they are pretty much arbitrary. No need to get upset about them being available for a limited time only.

Seems we have different definitions of a completionist type of player. There's no such thing as an optional or arbitrary item. If it's available, it's fair game. Not only that but it's necessary for one to feel up to date. Most people who play this way dont really do this for the visitors, they do it to know they've done/gotten everything. So my point stands. Putting items up for purchase with real cash for a limited time will definitely end up irking some people if it becomes common practice.

they have this amazing thing called money. it's for people who have no self control and have to buy everything.
