Puzzle Piece Odds
Lvl 440 "Other Peoples Problem Solver!" 5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted April 24th 2013 at 2:12 PM Raymond Regular play vs the Flux. Are they different, way different? I have been completing the flux every day and a half for the last month or so, get something like 20-25 pieces on a full energy load, but here now with this new update and absolutely nothing else changed I have only obtained 2 pieces so far on my first full energy bar.

I can't really give an fair judgement if the amount has dropped because im using all of my tokens for energy. But the flux is an easy place to get tokens. There I can compleet the puzzle in 2 days 3 days at max. And in general I get about 30 peices in a full energy spending (farm+packs)

But a 10 or 20 to 1 difference when such a difference NEVER happened in the Flux is quite the eye opener.

So the Gryphon's the only one with Puzzle Piece Ability eh? Am I guaranteed that ability on the next one if I already have one with the nothing factor? Or does it remain random? EVERYONE who ever got into the Flux has left the Flux in an unfinished state when new content comes out. Both my Gryphons are puzzle gryphons. What a pet does is determined randomly, and it appears that the odds for those are not 50-50. I.E. 7 of my 8 twins are identical, that's just statistically very hard to believe.

Like we were both having last night? Today my drops are back to what I'd call normal, so it really seems like something wasn't right with the update and drop rates until they fixed it. Likeliest possibility I could think of was the flux, since from what I've read, your incomplete flux pieces are carried over to the next flux, no? And I had found flux drop rates lower than normal zones.

And as I'm a great follower of the forums I know that nobody has had a similar issue ever with any of the prior 7 fluxes when they end. This is an issue or a problem with this update, and as you noticed it seems to be gone or was just a perception of a problem. carrying over of flux pieces has no impact on anything, your 'flux' pieces are sequestered in computer memory somewhere until the time comes for them to come back, those have absolutely nothing to do with this puzzle, or the next 11 puzzles in this zone, or the next 36 puzzles in the next 3 zones of this island update or the next 4 or 5 secret bonus squares of this area, or the Nates puzzles of this area, nothing.
