Costs to build planting plots.

No, not the plots themselves which all appear to cost 500 gold. I mean how much it costs to clear the land. I just did my 9'th costing 10k, the 10'th will be 20k, someone in chat mentioned one that costs 200k, but I think it should be much much higher as I think he said it was his 18'th and that just doesn't make any sense. plus, just how many plots are possible? I count 21 but the perfectionist in me says that can't be.

Didn't find that when I did a wiki search for 'plots' which is what one plants and one has to prepare for. That table seems to be wrong, or the Developers changed the amounts (seem to remember them doing that a long time ago). My 9'th cost 10k, the 10'th will cost 20k. Others listed in this thread are also 'different' from the wiki as is the total number of 'expansions'.

And the number of plots seems to be, or have been, 20.
392 Posts	Link to post - Posted April 8th 2013 at 2:45 AM Joe Gosselin well, these costs are what i've noted when i bought them (right now i have 15 plots). The devs said a long time ago altough there is 21 square to expand there is 20 plots to get to make a round number.

Entire land is 5x5 which is 25 squares. First house takes up 2 and you are given 6 free squares. I have 6 more squares to purchase and the next price is 350 000 gold. No doubt there are some errors in the wiki, but between the 5 comments in here we can't even agree. Everyone needs to keep the terminology clear though. Devs confirmed max 20 Farm Plots, not Expansion plots/squares/areas.

One plot is directly behind the house but its there. Others are behind or beside others. Move your mouse everywhere. Perhaps you have not bought all the plots that you have the ability to plant. Where do you get this 5x5 idea? And the house was 1, it didn't cost anything to expand it other then to do several quests. And where do you get the 6 given free? It was 4 that were free, and to get a few of the achievements took a few days because it takes time to plant 6 things in 4 plots before you expand those plots...

They limited the number to max 20 but in fact it would be 21 if you added the original 4 plots plus 17 Expansions (4+17=21). So that would make me pretty much sure there is 17 for purchase expansions.

Not how many more then some arbitrary perhaps changed original number. Today, right now, if I had the gold, I could have 21 Cantelopes, right? Not 20, not 17, not anything lower unless I don't have the gold and don't do all that's possible, not anything higher unless they make more 'expansions' if they ever will but will never do.

And another example of which information is correct or has that too changed.

When somebody does it, we can always add another plot to unlock.
