Diana DrummondI just got to max level and I am wondering what to spend my time whacking.
I currently do the quests that get me feathers and quester tokens (since those can be later traded for energy) but am looking for recommendations of waht else to do. Thanks, DD |

RaymondI do about 20 of the 50 repeatable quests. Mostly to up my numbers for an Achievement in doing 10K of them. And there are a few other Achievements that are achievable, one I'll get in about 3 months and another in about 4.5 months.
You didn't mention the Fishing quest, that too gives you Tokens you can change into Energy. I also at one point whacked for over a month on Level 1/2 Bushes/Beasts to get another couple Achievements (one for a million and one for a million while at Max). I still need to whack up a Diamond. So among the quests I do are a bunch that require whacking a lot, those Questor ones, 2 in the Jungle, the Sparklies in the Caves, the Library and Armory in the Scientists Castle. While at Max you might notice that your score hardly moves. For us it's strictly Gems and 1 per Bush (so when I did the Level 1 Bushes I got a ot of score). So some people whack a lot just to make sure that they don't lose place in the Rankings. |

Monica DykemanRight now, I'm doing the treasure maps that I didn't do earlier. The bushes are usually at a 5 to 8 energy level (for the ones I'm doing) so I get a lot of whacking for my energy, plus I get something at the end. When they are done, I will go back to doing the feather quest, fishing, slider puzzle (I enjoy it and it's easy for me), wizard and dragon quest, ghost quest etc. It's mostly whacking for achievements and ranking and to keep busy 'till the next level increase, where I'll have extra energy.

Melody October MayI am working on trying to reach the 10,000 quests achievement, so I'm doing almost all of the quests avaiable every day.
You basically just need to set a goal for yourself - perhaps you have a game-time rival that you want to out-whack, or you want to get a specific goal. When I was trying to reach the Ultimate Bush Whacker, I ended up spending two days whacking level 1 bushes to get there faster - BORING! But, I was able to get that goal done. So make yourself a list of personal goals, and work on one or two at a time. Good luck! |

Raymond2 days, wow, it took me something like a month. What really helped was being a BW Club member so I could Mana whack there too with great effect.
Other things I have done in the past is to fill EVERY square with nothing but Beasts. I have since modified that so each area has 4 Beasts and 2 Bushes (usually of both kinds) so that I could do some quests. And of course 5 areas, the ones for the Questers quests, where I can just whack everything. Plus a few other areas where it's good to not have beasts. And something I always do, of the 30 Quests that I don't do as mentioned above, I actually do them, have them done, during the time that I am not Max right after a content update. I just don't turn them in until the next Level Cap increase and instantly get something like 50,000 XP. |

Nate DauerAs I get higher level, the requirements for events have gotten harder too, so I'm through with the whole speedy-level-up deal from questing, now I only quest when there is something to be gained BESIDES more XP. Quests Steve's lake cleaning or Gord's bush-whacking or the slider puzzle, but also ones that give tokens (assuming I have not already made all the purchases possible from said tokens).

Kelly O'NeillIn response to Raymond's comment: so even though we currently aren't getting experience at max level if we turn in something we WILL get the experience if we have started and completed a quest while at 135 and turn it in after the increase happens?

Melody October MayLast Edited January 8th 2012 at 9:36 AM Kelly, for a while I was using that mindset - complete all the quests, but just hold on to them, so that I wasn't doing quests over and over and using up my energy. By waiting until a level increase update, I could turn them in for XP rather than gold.
However, I finished the personal quests I was doing, and now that my personal quest is to reach the 10,000 quests, I am doing all of the quests every day (except, perhaps, the ones that involve non-bushes, if I am running short on energy). So, it's a matter of personal choice and what you are wanting to accomplish. I definitely suggest doing at least the free quests every day - that would be the Mind Games, the fishing quests (Cleaning Up the Lake & A Youthful Mutated Samurai Turtle), Your Daily Exercise (arena), and then, of course, your daily zaps. Also, the quests with very little energy output, if if it's not on bushes, are well worth the XP or extra gold you'd gain: Revenge is a Dish, Thieving from Thieves, Ancient Family Heirlooms, & Lucas is Missing. If you have not yet got all of the swords available from the blacksmith, continue to do the different ore quests from him, so that you end up with all those CIs. Good ones to do as far as them converting into energy later on are: - FISHING TOKENS - 5 tokens can be traded for 50% energy by buying a fish feast from the fisherman: Cleaning up the Lake (1 fishing token) - FEATHERS - 20 feathers can be traded for 50% energy by buying island fruit from the warrior: Making Another Batch (2 feathers), 52 Coconut Pickup (2 feathers), Missing Villagers (1 feather) - QUESTER'S TOKENS - 20 tokens can be traded for 50% energy buy buying the quester's feast from Dr. Otto in the crypts: Flowers for Lucy (1 token), More Practice Makes Perfect (1 token), Size Does Matter (1 token), Fine Cave Dining (1 token), & Protect the Corn (1 token). - FRIEND TOKENS - 20 friend tokens can be traded for 4 Bush Bucks, which can then be used to buy energy, BW Club membership, or reagents: Fee-fi-fo-fum (5 tokens), Share the Wealth (5 tokens), or buy helping out your friends with their FFFF or STW, or in building quests (see either Sasha or go to your Request page on FB, 1 token each). |

Kelly O'NeillThanks Melody,
Already doing most of those. I've been trying to complete as many of the areas as possible while doing the energy storing quests like the ones you mentioned. Kelly |

RaymondTo clarify.
NO. You WILL NOT get any XP of any kind from any Quests whether or not you started them before becoming Max or while at Max. What I said is that I start a bunch of Quests before becoming Max. I do that so that doing the Quests (say the Breakfast in the Scientists Castle) I will be getting XP for each whack or collection of an item or whatever. I then DO NOT turn in the Quests (there are about 30) for the longest time. I wait until there is A NEW MAX. At that point NOBODY is maxed out and everyone gets XP for whacking and quests and so forth. Then while working on the new stuff and still not Maxed out I work on those 30 quests again to SAVE until the next update. I only actively do 20 quests every day without fail and turn in every day. These are things that give me things like tokens or ones I like to do and are relatively energy cheap to do. I AM working on getting to have done 10,000 repeatable quests. |

RaymondTo clarify a little better if all that above is too much gobbledegook.
Right not while you are maxed go do a quest. When you go to turn it in, or look at it in the quest log, it says you'll get so much gold for it. But if you don't turn it in and save it until you aren't max, after the next update that raises the max, the quest log will instead say you'll get so much xp for it. What you get for a quest is based on whether or not you are max when you turn it in. Doesn't matter when you did the quest. I only mention doing the quests while not at max because a lot of them are extremely energy costly, do them when you are maxed and you get absolutely nothing while doing them. Like that ghost one that someone said takes forever. Whack thousands of bushes to get 10 ghosts and you only get the contents of the bushes, no xp, for the expense of tens of thousands of energy. |
