It would be really cool if we could sell leftover materials from trinket crafting. for example i requested a whole bunch of "rough powder" in the beginning thinking it will be used again, so selling it (like unwanted house furniture) would be really cool

In addition to leftover materials, how about trinkets themselves? I have 48 that I mostly don't use in addition to the 8 that I do use. Most of those 48 I never use, the only ones are the occasional ghostly thing, the invisibility ring, the 5 speed trinkets, and the 6 or 7 max energy trinkets (used just before leveling up to get some 400+ extra energy).

We aren't going to allow selling/disposing of trinkets, Raymond, sorry - we don't want people to sell them by accident!

Andrew, I have your suggestion on my list of potential updates, I'll let you know when there's a response.

It might be nice to be able to store our trinkets at the ranch :o)

I'd like to at least be able to sort my Trinkets.
You know, put those p-o-s's way in back where I never have to look at them, and put the marginal sometime ones right before those, then the ones that I actually swap between right in front...

We did change it so the newest (and therefore most powerful) trinkets appear first, but we are aware that people want more sorting options for trinkets. That's much more likely to happen than the selling/trashing option.

If we could add additional trinket slots that'd be great. I know that, given the powers of trinkets, there's the risk of maxing out on a certain feature, but still - I have so many trinkets and can only use a few. What's the point of playing the flux over and over (until where I am now, where I'm only getting gold, not trinkets, for completing)?

"Never" = "future update"?

No I don't think so, they abandoned this kind of Trinket several months, several updates ago and instead embrace only the kind you buy with gold/gems and win in the Flux.

The last update (spooky forest) came with a new combine trinket recipe (Ghastly Jack'o'Lantern), I just crafted it myself; so I'm not sure what makes you think that they abandoned the concept...

I remembered something and went searching.
You were thinking of 'trinket selling' a little while ago, not even last year.

Yes, it was something that we were considering/wanted to integrate but upon further reflection the difficulties presented in integrating it combined with the problems that integrating it would cause made us rule it out entirely.
