Energy Pack question
792 Posts	Link to post - Posted February 17th 2013 at 4:21 PM Russel Denton Ok,i had 25 energy packs and i used 12 of them then when i tried to use the 13th one a message flashed up saying something like, that i have used my quota of energy packs and to come back in 3hrs time to use more, now is there a limit of energy packs you can use at once or is it a bug and if anyone else has encountered this.

You had used 25 within a 20 hour period. I do not use mine haphazardly, I use all 25 within a short period so that I know I can do 25 more 20 hours later. I have enough friends that I can 'spam' 15 of them in the morning and 15 others at night, so that 25 have a chance to help and only a few might get a message to the effect that I'm full up on packs.

We only get the trinkets because they give us an advantage in the first place. Of course you would equip the trinket that gives you an edge with what you're doing at the time - be it whacking, waiting for energy, leveling up or (why not?) using energy packs. Some trinkets give you an edge during active playtime (i.e. better odds to find something upon whacking something) and others give you an edge during passive playtime (i.e. "+ max energy" while waiting for new energy). Equipping the best trinket for the occasion is perfectly acceptable in my eyes. I honestly don't think the devs expect the players to have the "+ max energy" trinket be active during active playtime in order to benefit from it during passive playtime. I, personally, am far too lazy to change my trinkets all the time; but if I wasn't, I would change my trinkets to "+ max energy" for the night and switch them back in the morning.
735 Posts	Link to post - Posted February 23rd 2013 at 9:16 AM jpl77 +max energy trinkets don't work for energy packs, but it does work for your level ups. next time you are going to level over, change your trinkets and you can get another 300 energy if you have the best ones. switch back to your normal working trinkets once you've leveled.
