Ruth OrozcoI know, I know, we just got done with Christmas and the Haven Crypts, but is it too soon to whine about the next update?? I haven't leveled up or earned XP in almost a month and am cramping up!! Any rumors about it?? I would love to get to Twiggy Lake next...

RaymondLast Edited January 2nd 2012 at 10:41 AM If you count the time I have not earned XP it's about 350 days or more out of my 500 days of playing. There are many people with even fewer days of earning XP.
So, not to sound condescending or insulting, but to think that the game revolves around how often You earn xp is a little selfish. Everyone at the top get at most about 4 or 5 new days of earning it when new content comes out. The developers can't create new content just for that... Sure I'd love new content, we all would. But it's hard work and they just got through their vacation after a lot of their other hard work... |

RaymondPlus apparently they are going to have thousands of man hours to help the many thousands of people who lost their giant and chest in the Christmas zones. It would have taken a second to program this event the way they did Halloween and have any started Quests of that type relocate when those Squares disappeared.

Ruth OrozcoNo, no, no...don't want to appear selfish!! It's just that I LOVE this game and it's really the only one I found that I like every time I play!! And I definitely want those who lost giants, etc to find them. I am seriously thinking of starting the game over from scratch--I miss having to find this to get to that and then get over there and begging friends to help me, etc. I miss the "mystery." It seems to have become too easy the way it is. And I certainly understand the complexities of writing code for a game (I grew up in Silicon Valley and have had many engineer friends). So devs, take your time to design a quality product, but know that there are some that are having withdrawals!! (Rebecca, Monica, Melody, help me!!)

RaymondIf you ever start the game over from scratch, can you do me a favor? Well perhaps useful to the Wiki too.
Record the name of each and every Quest that you get, and if possible decipher what it comes from. I.E. Kings Quest chain, Haven general ones, ... And record the size of every jigsaw puzzle. They all get to be 5x6 perhaps as soon as the Desert, but some at the beginning are only 3x3. I can't justify the number of puzzle pieces obtained as shown in the profile without knowing that there are say 20 that were 3x3, 10 that might have been 3x4, and so on... As for game withdrawal. We get bye by doing daily quests, perhaps working on personal achievement related challenges like my desire to hit 200,000 Monsters (perhaps will happen by June by my estimation). 10,000 Repeatable Quests will happen for me perhaps by March. I also want 1,000 of every Metal and of every token (except Underwater, I refuse to ever go there). If the Developers could make the Underwater zone bearable, I mean just generally playable, then I might do those. But they have enough work making new stuff instead of fixing what's programmed horribly wrong over a year ago. |

Ruth OrozcoRaymond, I did start over in Hi5 and started an Excel file for you...when I get some friends on this one, I may be able to advance better. For now, I'm still waiting for the speedy whack shoes...the good ol' days!!

RaymondAnother useful tidbit to know might be the XP value of each Level.
i.e. I'm 136 now and 6,970,200 must be reached to get to 137. I have some of this for ~level 70 +/- 20 but that section of my spreadsheet had columns infringing on others and there's always the +/- 1 confusion of is that number for 136 or 137... |

Raymondthis could actually be compiled from many players.
please everyone, state your current level and what that xp bar says to get to for the next. do not state how much to get there, like from your achievement posts, that is not the full amount because you never exactly reach the xp crossover value. |

RaymondThanks Dave, but I just realized that a Profile comparison shows me that, so I will be making 136 or fewer comparisons shortly with people of as many Levels as I have the patience to seek out in the rankings.
