32 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 30th 2012 at 12:29 PM Shel Whitman While I can appreciate what the devs are saying regarding numbers etc I think, in all fairness to the players who have been here from day one and sitting leveled/maxed out for so long...please, give us one final update to link BW1 to BW2 so we can let BW1 fade out with grace & dignity. At this point it wouldn't even have to be a huge content one but something that officially takes us from one to the other. Please?? At the very least allow us to transfer gold/gems??
5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 30th 2012 at 1:09 PM Raymond Isn't that the purpose of the twiggy lake update of many mon ths ago and the sending reinforcements quest and latest kings quests of also many months ago? I seem to remember the developers saying there was going to be one more update. But they also said they were going to fix the programming bug, one minute of programmers time, that shows all us done people as being 102%.
32 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 30th 2012 at 1:56 PM Shel Whitman I agree Raymond that Twiggy Lake did semi tie the two together but I guess what I'd like to ultimately see is some finality with the King & Princess. If we have spent the time to track the spoiled little brat down and rescue her so to speak then let it be reflected back in BW1. As a reward transfer our gold & gems and we'll be on our merry way whacking in BW2. :)

I fail to see the need to transfer anything, but please do not close down BW1 till all who wish to continue to the very end are complete

They specifically designed this game so that it wouldn't be broken. I have 30 Diamonds and 40 Million Gold in BW1 and just how long do you think that would bring me to the top of BW2? just about instantly.

As to those doing better in 2 than 1: there are little things that were changed that definitely made them better. I'll do the odd thing in 1 out of boredom and think 'omg, this part works so much better/smoother in 2!!' Trial and error, learn as you go.

I'm done everything that I'm planning on doing (think there are some fishing and arena items I never got), so would like to know if I should keep the app or concentrate on finishing eb1.

56 Posts	Link to post - Posted January 20th 2013 at 12:50 PM Dave Iseminger I actually think on of the MOST helpful things for a final BW1 update would be the ability to buy energy with all the extra sand dollars (Maiden's Rest), minion tokens (castle), and jungle tokens (jungle). Then there would actually be a point to keep giving these tokens when the daily quest is complete and everything in the store is already bought.

That will keep people playing, even without content change. And yes,I agree with Dave - all the various tokens we've been collecting - let us start turning those in for something.

I'm assuming that means there are bugs to fix and it's not just a question of pushing them out to the live server. It'd be nice if they'd wrap them up, though, and let us play them.

There is also at least one bug to fix, all of us done people being 102% done. I think there was another bug that they mentioned they were going to fix, but since its been at least a quarter year since they said all that I think its not actually ever going to happen. I for one think that they should come out and say they are abandoning this great game instead of giving us absolutely no info or contradictory info.
