Lvl 178 "Hero to the Downtrodden!"

Often I'd swear I clicked on the power multiplier normally as I would any other given time, and go to hit a critter and... turns out the power wasn't activated. I get the impression from mousing over it slowly that there's a bit of a lag on it registering. A half second after you mouse over, the icon finally bulges out a bit. Is this a connectivity issue or something that could be modified in the game itself?
