Doesn't matter yet. There is a week or 4 days or 2 days till it matters. The opening blurb says the 29'th, the quest log says 2 things Saturday or the 26'th because there is no such thing as Saturday the 26'th this year.

It's Turkey Wranglin' time again! Jebediah the Turkey Wrangler has appeared once more in Southeast Haven and is looking for intrepid bush whackers to help collect turkeys! You have up until November 29th at noon to collect as many turkeys as you can. If you collect 200 turkeys, you'll get a special turkey pet! Players who participated in this event last year can partake again to earn another turkey ribbon, which will stack with any ribbons they won last year! Good luck!

one can infer from that, and from every other event ever, that one can't turn in anything now and at some point one will be able to do so.

Capture as many turkeys as you can for Jebediah the Turkey Wrangler. Turkeys appear randomly as you whack bushes in all zones. The number of turkeys you capture before turning in the quest determines your ribbon reward. You can whack turkeys until Saturday, November 26th at noon (PST). If you capture 200 turkeys, you will also receive an awesome turkey pet that follows you around and helps you whack! Turkey spawn rate is based on your level, so all levels of whackers can win the top prizes if they whack enough! If you completed this quest last year, you can complete it again to earn another ribbon.

I would also say to talk to the Pilgrim but...
The Developers must have changed something in the last few days. Before when you talked to the Pilgrim he offered 3 or 4 options. He described the event, and he had a line as I spelled it out on Wednesday http://forum.djartsgames.ca/?thread_id=6102

one thing says the 29'th which is Thursday, another thing says the 26'th which is Monday, someone mentioned this several days ago. And that second thing also says Saturday which this year happens to be the 24'th not the 26
th as the Developers think (probably the writeup from last year). I can't remember exactly what it said when one could actually ask the Pilgrim the following question 'can I turn in my turkeys now?' and we will never know since the Developers removed that writeup.

Which is correct? I bet none of them are and it will happen some other day.
