hidden cave puzzle
2 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 27th 2012 at 3:32 PM Lindsay Jasper Moffat hey everyone im stuck on the hidden cave puzzle and can't get the rest of the squares where i need them. is there any possible way to reset the puzzle if not i need someone who knows how to figure it out from here current figures are as follows 1 2 7 4 5 6 8 3 9 12 10 11 13 14 15
5565 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 27th 2012 at 7:01 PM Raymond the following site has a java applet that solves it from any starting position. but first just try to get the top row done, then the 2'nd row. then the third row, and the 4'th row without affecting the 3'rd row or just affecting it in a reversible manner is easy to figure out. http://www.brian-borowski.com/Software/Puzzle/

253 Posts	Link to post - Posted October 29th 2012 at 7:30 AM Last Edited October 29th 2012 at 7:30 AM Marc Kriguer From the position you were starting from (the left column finished, and the second column fairly close), I would suggest finishing the second column (without touching the first one), which would only take a few moves... and then, leaving those two columns alone, finish the top row and the second row. At that point, you will only have the 11, 12, and 15 pieces left, and by shifting them around in their 2x2 square in the bottom right, you will finish the puzzle.
