Is there anyway to check what secret areas have been completed? I just entered secret area #16 and received the achievement of finding 15 secret areas, so that tells me I missed one but have no idea, is the only way to know to travel to them all to check? should be an easier way than having to do that. Anyone know?

No easier way unless you planned ahead of time to actually do them all in order. But I also make sure to not enter a secret area until I'm actually working on it because as you must know, that achievement in no way says how many that you have done, only how many you have entered.

Great Question Deb !! Maybe Dev's could put something in the achievements area? That would be awesome!

I have been doing them in numbered order and thought I had done them all but when I got the achievement for finding 15 areas when I was in the 16th it makes me think I may have forgotten one. I guess I will go check the hard way, thanks for the replies

You can access area #16 before you can access #15, so it could be you're just not there yet.

Funny I've got the same problem - I've done them all in order and even went back through each area - I found 13 - 14 and 16 no 15.

What do you mean by secret areas. Do you mean like the old mountain where I had to dispose of chests just to finally get a key or whatever it was.I have just started the desert ranch.

No, there are bonus secret areas in every area. There's a bush wikia page on the forum, which lists where they are.
What you're describing are Nate's adventures.

Every main area has secret areas. Special areas like the old mountain and desert temple and commons and house... don't because they themselves are in effect special areas of the game.
So there are 3 in the forest, 3 in the mountains, 3 in the desert, and I suppose that pattern follows everywhere farther into the game.

to get to the 15th you have to finish the area before the one you find the 16th

but to finish the one that you get the 15th in you have to finish the area where the 16th area is

its the swamp one ... you have to go up one side of one swamp to the top swamp and back down to the other swamp to finish the other side of it

16th is the top one, 15th you need to finish the 'lower' one to get the direction

to access secret area 15 you need to finish puzzle one in the 3rd area and you can only get to that by finishing the deep swamp area and going back down into the Northern area.
