I tend to use guardians around level 12-13 for pvp, because the movesets are easier to predict. As you can see, my trainer level is higher than that, but I still lose battles to better trainers. Also, please refrain from swearing. You can get your point across without the use of profanity.

Yes they will most likely have high level guardians as a whole, but generally you get matched up with someone who has the same level guardians as you. However I've noticed I've fought people who have guardians 1-2 levels higher than my highest (and unfortunately 2-3 than my lowest) but these things happen in pvp. It's best to keep your team around the same level.

Heck, I use guardians weaker than my regular set (lvl 30-31), and I've fought against people with a trainer level of 16! They were, like me, using weaker guardians. The biggest trouble with fighting against higher trainer levels is that they have more experience. They might have buffed the stats/attacks of their guardians with Tokens, and they know how to beat certain types. If you're having trouble beating a guardian in pvp, throw a bomb at them. I find that it helps a lot, especially at lower levels.
30 Posts	Link to post - Posted September 19th 2012 at 11:29 AM Damian Rijsdijk yeah i noticed that thats how i almost beat up a lv 11 with like every guardian+3 levels than mine when i was lv 8 but still.. it should go by level imo.. and if you win like everything at lv 8 than maybe vs weaker lv 9's or something..
