whats the best rock gaurdian? whats the best fire gaudian?

But keep in mind that you can replace the fire type with Fire Bombs - I am not aware of the existence of Rock Bombs, however. Rock types also give you an advantage of Normal types, something few other types manage. For example, Fengs and their evolutions can get annoying as their attacks are quite strong, so having a Rock type will allow you to tough it out until you can defeat it. If the Rock type you have is a Plodder, it will later gain the attack "Sand Storm", where you can both damage the HP and Accuracy (-6) of your opponent. My Plodder has served me well in winning several boss fights, as Sand Storm chips away at their Accuracy until they can't hit me anymore. Also, while both Fire and Rock are weak towards Water, Rock is slightly better at resisting Water attacks. (In battle, notice that Water vs Fire gets a "super effective" text while Water vs Rock results in "very effective", signaling that Water is a bit less effective against Rock.) So, in conclusion: Rock Type for the win! ... Edit: Also, kudos on dropping the mooky. Good defence does not make up for sucky attacks. I have a level 22, evolved, and I dumped it like a hot potato.
