Has anyone been successful making a Sikuli script for any fishing areas?

Discussing ways to possibly do what some might consider 'cheating' is probably not a good thing to do on a Forums provided and maintained by the Developers of this game itself.

But if one were going to 'automate' anything, something that Facebook itself has rules against, there are many simpler ways to do it including something provided by Microsoft itself with older Operating Systems.

I doubt the developers would care. FB does not have rules against it as far as I'm aware. If you're claiming they do, provide a link. I'm not using Windows. Lastly, a simple no or ignoring the post entirely would suffice. Thanks anyway.

3.2 of http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/legal/terms
And in Linux or other Unix like operating systems there are at least a thousand different ways to automate mouse pressing at specific locations and timing delays.

And to answer your original question, YES. But not using Sikuli, and have not needed to use what I had created in just over a year, the end of last years Thanksgiving Event I knew I wouldn't get the Large Ribbon due to lack of Energy. So I actually bought Energy and that wasn't enough to make a difference either. Some from Fishing helped but too little too late. And this is why the Developers WOULD care, you cut into their profits by not actually buying into the game, and is why there is a fishing Limit of your Max and another limit that I can't explain but perhaps others would.

3.2 doesn't have anything to do with what I'm referring to. There's no malicious intent against others. And all I was looking to do was not have to sit here and do it myself or wait for 172 energy to move up a level. Nobody would be losing any money over that little energy.

3.2: You will not collect users' content or information, or otherwise access Facebook, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without our permission.

"You will not ... access Facebook using automated means" -- sounds like a direct violation to me.

It's the "or otherwise access Facebook" that really matters there. Especially the word "or", two very different and distinct do not do's in that sentence. And since they do not say 'will not collect "other" users content' they also mean YOU too, you are not to automate even collecting your own logins of games and such. But that is something that a lot of people probably do. Technically a game developer, if they determine that someone is doing such, is totally allowed to delete the account of anyone they find doing that.

And yes you hurt the Developers by not spending money on the game.
On a side note, there are a ton of ways to get BB's (with which you can buy Energy) other than buying them, the Developers have created so many ways to get free ones.
And of course you can get Energy from a Statue, and a lot of Mana from a Statue, and Energy from Fishing Tokens, and Energy from Island Feathers, and Energy from Crypt Tokens, and Energy from just waiting a little time (I get 144 an hour). Plus buying Energy for Gold and Gems (about 1000 Energy a day) in the Haveen Store, and of course the Auction House

Is there a hurry to get to the next Level for you? Are you trying to be among the first 100 people to get to Level 135 for that achievement? That boat probably sailed about a week after the Crypts update a month ago.

Hey Don, Raymond was actually being pretty nice, so don't give him grief for trying to look out for you. The Devs are constantly in these boards and they are very active in this community, so take his advice.

Marc, everything in section 3 is about safety. Keeping in mind this was only a question, how would that question pose a threat to any user's safety?

Raymond, there is no hurry. Your reasoning for doing in the past what I am only questioning currently is no more or less valid than my reasoning for asking. If the devs would like to delete my account the surely can.

Bob, no one is giving anyone grief - or at least attempting to. Never the less if Raymond feels as though that's the case, I apologize.

Someone in the first month of the game had fished over 100,000 casts. The Developers implemented some limitations at that time. I don't think they deleted his account.

Someone was using a Bot in the Auction House and somehow also having unlimited Gold. The Developers deleted his account, not sure if it was for using the Bot or the actual cheating, your guess.

Someone was using a Bot or something in the Arena, he always won, he always had powerups that didn't exist. The Developers deleted his account.

I'm sure the Developers don't really care if someone wants to get more Energy than they can do manually and bypass actually helping support the game servers and company...
