Puzzle pieces have become rarer for me too -- even using the spell to make them 3 times as likely :(

I don't like the fact that you guys are having trouble but I am glad its not just me that feels this way.

The Event's over in 10 days.
But buy the puzzle spell and get sometimes 2 or 3 pieces in one quick whack, and all 9, 12 or 16 in less than 150 whacks.

If you can't do that then first be sure that you are whacking in a square that needs some pieces, but occasionally whack elsewhere. Wasting one bush every 10 or so on regular squares really seems to help.

Sure, send a trouble ticket directly to the developers to have them look at the few of you. If vwey many people were actually having problems then they would know about it, an so would we.

But the problem is thinking that completing a square a day is somehow supposed to happen.

A square is a square. One can open a new square every 12 hours, that in no way means that one can complete it in 12 hours or a day or a couple days. I'll say something I said about 4 months ago, the 'distribution' of random Puzzle Pieces is random and is totally unpredictable. The Spell helps by increasing that odds by a factor of 3, but one in hundreds vs 3 in hundreds is still relatively rare.

Ok, here is a quick question for ya'll and possibly the answer as well, if you answer yes, lol. Are ya'll just getting past level 50? If so, your rate of everything will slow down, if I remember correctly. I should remember, I just read the figures from Raymond like 20 minutes ago, lol. Wait, I grabbed it! While it doesn't say it here, I thought I remembered the Devs saying in the old forum that your find the puzzle pieces and the collector's items faster during that time as well. You can also try popping into another zone and playing there for a minute, it sometimes makes the zone you are working on get insanely jealous & it starts trying to win you back to it. I hope that helps and if not, I hope it entertained you for 3 seconds, lol!

From level 0 to 50 a Bush of Value 10 gives 40 XP, it's 4x, and a Score of 11.
From level 50 to max-1 a Bush of Value 10 gives 20XP, that's 2x, and a Ranking Score of 11.
At Max Level a Bush of Value 10 gives zero XP (nothing gives you any XP at Max), and a Score of one unless you get a Gem and then its 1 plus the Gem value...

Hey Lottie, wanted to wish you the best of luck finding the ice hat, I worked on it for 2-3 days for a total of maybe 10 minutes, but I am just guessing the time. It seemed to take forever and they say you are supposed to divide the time it feels like by 5 to get a close approximation the actual time. Since I didn't know how long forever actually is in minutes, I just based it on what my boy think is forever, which is 10 minutes, lol!

It's been over 24-hrs, 2+ full energies, plus energy packs and not a single puzzle piece for me. That is not normal. Everything else shows up, but no puzzle pieces.

edited to add:
several hours later, moved to a different area when I finally get a puzzle piece. Fo back to the christmas local and got a few more. Seems like it's back to normal output now. Looks like the gme had a hick-up and 'ran out' of puzzle pieces for 24-hrs. :(

What is still happening is a frequent server connection error....the constant whacking at a same bush is getting annoying - but that belongs probably in a different thread....
