Whish someone could help me...
Had my browser open with BW all day... wayting for new elf quest appear... but nothing!
Finished the third quest, and now just a grey question mark, as if never finished it...
Pls someone who have the solution, HELP... I want to finish this event! I love BW!

The gray question mark signifies that you didn't actually complete the quest, like Lottie said you probably didn't capture the puzzle non-monster.
But that won't prevent the next gate from becoming available. It's 12 hours after you start a quest that the next one is possible. You don't actually have to complete any, but of course that's nice.
And if you never move from a square, the person's question mark might never change color. Click the guy anyway and you should see the start of a new quest. Or exit the area and come back and the ? will be the right color. Or possibly look at the Map but see below for reasons that might not work.
Part of the problem is that he can't display a ? of one color signifying a quest completed or of a different color for one still in the works and a ! signifying another quest is available.
The same thing happens on Map squares where there are multiple quests, like the Jungle. I have 2 quests that I have completed but will not turn in until the Level Cap is increased, and there are 2 quests that I do there every day. Only one symbol is displayed on the map.

Duh! Instead of going where there are locked gates and expecting one of them to work, I should have checked the quest log again. The gate that opened wasn't where I expected it to be!
