Ive completed the quests ...all the dailies for the Christmas event yet it will not open a new area for me to start again....so do we just waste time4 in areas we have done? why are they not opening?

They actually happen 12 hoiurs after the previous one you STARTED. You don't have to finish any of them. I started and finished one just over 12 hours ago, it took 20 minutes to complete the square (I was actually doing some other quests at the time too), and 12 hours after the OPEN was when the Elf has a ? over his head.

So long? 10 gates, a half a day each, so 5 days total, for an event that's 2+ weeks long, if you can't play twice a day just to even open a gate then you don't have the dedication to succeed, but even once a day is enough to complete everything.

In only about 5 hours I'll have all done except for 3 squares. And I didn't buy my way through any of them.
I have this amazine thing called an alarm clock, I set it on my watch for 12 hours after having opened a new square. If I forget then I just check the Play History for the time (PST) of when I opened the last one and know when to make myself available to a computer for at least a minute to open another one. The actual working on the square can happen whenever I have time for that.
