51 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 15th 2011 at 2:30 AM Lisa Karr It does not show up as a quest on the map, but when I do the question mark it says it is an active quest.. I can get anything... is it because I got a tree last year or is this a new christmas tree??? I was wondering

Find Thirteen Christmas Balls (10/13) Find Five Christmas Lights (4/5) Find Four Christmas Garland (2/4) Find Eleven Candy Canes (6/11) Find a Christmas Star (1/1) I know it says "Find all the decorations for the Christmas Tree! Decorations can be found rarely in bushes during the Christmas event. Find all of the items before the event ends to get a special decorated Christmas Tree for your house." but perhaps it can't end before the Event ends. Or perhaps the tree in the Fairgrounds does not have a completion ! over its 'head'.

51 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 15th 2011 at 12:53 PM Lisa Karr the thing is I have done three zones and have only gotten ONE Garland.. so was wondering what is up and it does not show up when you look at the zones for active quest.. neither does the carrots.. I got a raindeer last year.. so not sure what is going on... hope someone can tell me.. I got a tree last year too..

Active quests only shows Quests that have specific zones where they can be done, others like the Adamantium Metal, Lucas and others which can be done EVERYWHERE do not show up on the Map, and ALL the Christmas stuff (other than the Puzzles) can be done EVERYWHERE. That quote above kind of says that by NOT saying that you HAVE to whack Christmas Bushes/Beasts.

I would first check the play history to be sure that the purchase happened, then I'd look at the Inventory again. The Christmas Tree is a House Item, and it could be anywhere in the unplaced house items.

41 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 21st 2011 at 2:19 PM aphie I understand that the items for the tree are rare to find, however, I've found almost all the carrots, finished all the christmas zones, and got everything but the 4 christmas garlands. I have not seen a single christmas garland, am I just really unlucky or is something going on? ;(

741 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 21st 2011 at 8:29 PM Nate Dauer Spore Cap spells (Quester's Favor) helps a lot for these. I recommend that, when you get assigned to find a bunch of items for Santa, Mrs. Santa, and sad Elf, that you go do another quest area that requires finding things in bushes (such as finding flowers in the pyramid for explorer tokens). Before you start whacking, however, activate the Quester's Favor spell and equip some kind of a sword that decreases the odds of nothing. This has been the most efficient way to get a bunch of different useful things done at once that I've found.

123 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 24th 2011 at 10:34 AM Theana Elizabeth Dalton what i do is i look at the names of each zone to see what it says have you tryed going back to the winter wounderland ? to find the last light or the north poll ? thoes are deffinitly 2 places i would look for sure on the christmass map also if you help santa and misses clus and the elf that also helps to find stuff that you are missing
