Ticket stubbs in relation to Christmas items
6 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 14th 2011 at 9:15 PM Megan Aldous Hi all! I am wondering what the point of collecting Christmas stubbs are. I have no new items listed to purchase, and the only thing I can buy with my stubbs is energy. Are there no new items for 2nd year Christmas players or am I missing something? Cheers and Thanks!

There are 2 items to be won from doing the quests (although I don't know about that Tree, I have that Tree already), and it looks like in the 3'rd square you also 'win' an item upon completing it. Perhaps each square from then on will have an item. I'm not going to spend my tickets. I had 20 carry over from last year. Who knows if next year will have things to Buy. If so then I'll have a big head start. If not it's no big loss for me, the available Energy is not really necessary for me (so far).

But I think it did say something different yesterday. I remember it saying something like 'at least one item for people who played last year'. Pretty sure it didn't say "buy". I'm hoping that they will not 'hide' things to be bought until one gets to the last Christmas Square, that could really bite people in the ass if they buy Energy asap every time they can so as to get all the 250 Carrots.

793 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 15th 2011 at 9:42 AM Justin Stocks (CNE Dev) The Ice Fishing hat and a new pet from the Christmas gifts are the two new items this year. Everything else was available last year, though some of it has been redistributed to different quests. You can spend your stubs on candy canes for energy if you'd like, or just not do the repeatable quests every day.

All Event Tokens that I've ever gathered carried over and I've been playing since the first day of the game, even before that in beta testing.

The thing is that that very first event was a one time only thing. It was the build a school one I think. I also have 183 Orange Stubs, 195 Red Stubs, 30 School Tickets. Not to mention all the other things some of which amount to almost a thousand. See the topic on the desire to trade tickets of one kind for another. And strangely I have negative 2 Handful o'Candy. Yes x-2.
13 Posts	Link to post - Posted December 28th 2011 at 1:42 PM Chuck Moss i believe you are right it was the build the school event which is different than the back to school event this year but it was labeled back to school event if memory serves me. either way if i remember right it was the only event that had tickets or whatever the currency for it was that didnt carry over. i dont doubt your knowledge of the game but i prefer to be as accurate as possible. as ive seen you do too.

And as mentioned above somehow one event left me with less that some tickets somehow. Plus I didn't mention everything I have, that's a list of 180+ things, of all kinds.
