Hi Bobbi-Jo,

Have you tried clearing your flash cache? It's separate from your browser cache, so clearing that won't do anything. To clear your flash cache, do the following:

1) Right-click on the game while it's loading and click 'Settings' in the pop-up menu.
2) In the window that pops up, drag the slider all the way to the left. Make sure the check-box is NOT checked.
3) Click Close.
4) Refresh the game.

Cheers,
- Justin

I'm having the same problem. I've tried right clicking in the game space while loading, but no panel is popping up. I tried it on another flash game in a different tab and no problem. Other fb games are not bring up the panel either :(

If you can't clear your flash from the loading screen, you can try this;
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

It's a free download and it will clear out a lot of unnecessary files bits and pieces.

Thanks, I found out how to clear it. Just still think it's strange that I can't call up the flash settings on facebook apps though :?

Grace, there is not one Flash cache. There is one for EVERY App that you allow to save Flash information to your hard drive. So other than using a program like ccleaner to do the hard work for you, or you yourself only cleaning the one flash cache that matters there is no other way.

p.s. If you play this game on one computer using different browsers (I use 8) then there really are 8 different flash caches that bushwhacker uses. But it's only ever the one main browser that I clear once a month and once at the release of new BW stuff.

Hi Grace,

Flash can be very stubborn about bringing up its context menu when a flash app is using up a lot of CPU. It's really annoying and hopefully the guys at Adobe will get that fixed in a future version. In the meantime, you can also clear the Bush Whacker flash cache on this page:

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

Just scroll down through the list of websites until you find bushwhackers3.djartsgames.ca (or just look for a site using 20+ MB of storage... that's probably us!)

Thanks Raymond and Justin :) My husband did just that for me, although he cleared all of them...don't ask me how, he's a programmer and knows all the tech stuff. So now all my games just zip along lol
