I started playing this game yesterday. I wanted to share some of my thoughs :) *First of all, the energy system in battles is a little to expensive. One energy point for every move? With this system, later in game, when all of Guardians will be on 20 or 30 lvl, we will have to spend about 8-10 energy to defeat one Guardian. That means, we will lose about 30 energy for a battle with Trainer (who has 4 Guardians) -- only one battle per full energy bar (about 2-3 hours waiting)? Someone mentioned a solution - 1 energy for battle with 1 Guardian (4 energy for battle with Trainer, who has 4 Guardians). Eventually + 1 energy everytime player switch Guardians - it will force us to think on good strategy before every battle :) *Also I wanted to ask - what player will obtain for winning with trainers multiple times? Now it is some gold and energy (sometimes). In description above trainer head it is always gray "?" in Reward section. Also trainers in re-match have Guardians on the same levels as before - don't know yet if this level rises. If not, my suggestion is: Every 2 winning battles with each trainer, add +1 lvl to all of trainer Guardians. It will make battles little harder later in game, it will keep all trainers on similiar difficulty level and players will battle with trainers more often. Also, maybe you can add higher value rewards for re-match battles? For example - After winning 20 times with a harder trainer, we can get special guardian as a reward, or capture disc, teleporter battery or even a jellybeans pack. *As a Randee said in one of previous threads - game could be boring after playing a while... My personal experience is similiar - I started playing Miscrit (another Pokemon-based game) 2 times and each time i played not more than 2 weeks. But Mystic Guardians seems to be a lot better than Miscrits :) I will check MG in beta for sure! I tried to read previous threads and tried not to duplicate suggestions... But if I did it- i'm sorry :) As a addicted BW player I wish you good luck with this game :) |

Matteo MeloiraI really like these suggestions.
The developers seem to be pretty rigid on the combat system, but I believe they mentioned that they may increase the energy cap. I'm hoping it will be someting like BW where you have 1100 energy by the time you reach 10 :) I also like the increased rewards for defeating trainers multiple times. That would be really nice, especially increasing the trainers' guardian levels. I suggested this myself, only I said every time you beat them they go up by 1 level :P maybe that's a bit too much haha. |

Dean Stanleythe only down side to increasing trainer levels, is that when you get a new gaurdian late in the game, it will be more or less useless.

Matteo MeloiraWell the one upside to that is you don't have to challenge every trainer again. I know that I would probably only challenge half of them just to be safe.
But as the game progresses your Guardians will be a higher level when you catch them so you won't have to worry about trying to level them up from lvl 1 every time. |
