Do you find it easier to complete an individual task & then proceed to the next or do you accept all tasks & then head out?

I've done the latter & now to fix the sleigh, I've got to complete area puzzles? Wow, that's gonna take some time. Along with finding George's pole, getting the elf the 3 hot chocolates, Mrs. C's 12 mistletoes, Santa's 10 toys, 250 carrots, & 34 tree decorations!

Luckily I made a notepad of who needs what!

It's really not all that complicated. Just start in the first open area that needs completed. Do all tasks concurrently. As you complete each task, a pop up will appear. Then you open the map, it will show you where to turn it in. Turn it in and go back to the area. Doing it this way, the game will automatically keep track and 'check off' each task. Going to your quest log will also tell you which are completed and in progress.

To not do things concurrently is to not use all your Energy and Mana efficiently.
I can tell you that I got some 25 Carrots today while doing my regular daily repeatable Quests elsewhere.
Also got a lot of the things for the Tree while outside, and finished 3 of the repeatable Christmas quests before even whacking a single bush in the new areas.
The only thing you can't do elsewhere is the jigsaw puzzle for every one of the Christmas squares, those are only in those squares.

I worked on opening the jigsaw area first with all tasks open. I found everything needed for the repeatable quests, other than decorations in that area. Once that area was finished, I went to a prior unfinished area and started finding the decorations. I only got 20 carrots. I got a late start because I wasn't online when the event began. I'm loving that you can't just complete an area and then move on, zipping through quickly. Having it timed makes it much more enjoyable to me.

Mindy, I know it "auto counts" what you've found. I just didn't know if people did all the quests simultaniously or not.

The timer is similar to the Halloween quests.

I'm also hoping that due to the limited amount of time for this, the puzzle sizes in each area are 3x3. I used up all my energy earlier today & only found 6 of the 9 pieces (& I'm a Level 54).

Buy the puzzlers spell and get all 9 pieces in about 20 quick whacks, less than a days total energy.

I have the puzzler's spell. Just not the monkey fur. &, from the other thread, won't be using any other spells, so it's pointless for me to buy those bag of items from the lady @ the store. & I'm not going to use my BW $ just to purchase the monkey fur either.

Watch out, Wayne - the puzzle do get a bit bigger when you go up. Not too much - I've got two zones left, and they're up to 4 x 4.

The first three zones are 3x3, then they move up to 4x3 for four zones, and the last three are 4x4.

I must have misread the instructions. Does the elf open up the new sections 12 hrs. after you open up a section.....OR does the elf continuously open up 1 section every 12 hours until they're all opened & you can go in any random order you choose?

From what I have been playing is you have to return to the elf for him to open up the gates. The option to open a gate is only available every 12 hours, unless you pay him a bribe of 10 BB. ;)

Thanks, Megan. I'm on #3 now - the seatbelt.

Struggling with the Icey Fishery map, used full energy, 1560, bought all energy from the shop and traded in my stubbs and only are 4/12. Can't use the spell as I don't have any bushbucks to buy the item, the lady only gives me spore caps, not even sure if you can get monkey fur from her or if you have to win it from a bush or critter..

You can get monkey fur from her - I find that it's the one I get the least from her. I just try to keep everything full, and then I'll get some.
