1PyxieWhen fighting in battles it seems to me something is wrong. It says it's my turn to attack and to choose my attack. Many times I choose and then get hit first (usually with the same hit I chose) before my move even activates - if it's my turn it should be my turn. I think I used slash on someone and it hit me first and then hit the other character - is that supposed to happen (bite &/or chomp have done this too). Also don't like that I can get hit by the other character up to 5 times (or sometimes only a couple with 2 different attacks) before each of my hits. I'd prefer to see critical hits if that's what it's supposed to be than get hit 5 times when each of my hits activate only once.
I have no problems losing a fair fight, but these don't seem fair. It will be a game killer for me if that's the way it's programmed and not a bug. |

Matteo MeloiraI'm not sure I quite follow what you're trying to say here.
Are you saying: You select the attack bite the opposing guardian hits you with their attack and then your bit hits them? Or are you saying You select the attack bite the opposing guardian hits you with their attack Your attack doesn't hit until the opposing guardian hits you multiple times? If its the first one...well suck it up :P Your guardian won't always hit the other person first. That's why speed is something you can level up. If its the second one then this is a serious bug and its good that you reported it. |

David Whittaker (CNE Dev)Hi Shari,
The battles aren't actualy turn based, they are round based. Each round both guardians pick an action. Some actions are faster than others, and some guardians are faster than others. The sum of the action speed and the guardian speed determine who goes first each round. -David |

Claudia KingI can't work it out either, my opponents get 2 -3 chances to bite, chomp, backstab whatever in a row, while I can't do anything. No wonder i can't win.

David Whittaker (CNE Dev)Hi Claudia,
Your oponent would never get 3 attacks in a row. They (and you) could get two attacks in a row if you picked a slow action in the first round and a fast action in the second round. Meaning you would go last in the first round and the first in the second round. We don't list the speed of an action in the details, but it looks like maybe we should. -David |

Claudia Kingwhenever I change my guardians, if they're low on health, my opponent gets the first hit. Regardless if it just hit or not, so it can happen, that they hit me twice, then I change guardian and then they get another attack.

Matteo Meloirayour action of changing your guardian counts as your move. So in that case you are in fact going first.

Naomi WaizerI had two things about battles:
1. It costs too much energy (which of course, isn't a problem when you have unlimited jellybeans) 2. If my guardian faints, I would still like them to receive XP for any battles they survived (either by receiving XP at the end of the battle while fainted, or getting the XP at the time an opponent is defeated, rather than the end of a battle). Enjoying the game though. |
