Guardian Types...Attributes?

Not sure what you call it, but their type; nature, fire, water, etc. To be honest, I'm tired of seeing more and more water, nature and fire types (we have 5 sets of each type)...and you've got more than enough normal types (8 sets). Hell there's even 4 sets of rock types.

I wasn't crazy about the insane amounts of critters in Miscrits all coming from about 6 types (i heard they're going to be adding a Light type). Why not expand as of now? You still could add a few Wind types and maybe even another rock type...but surprise us with something really different.

With everyone new "gym", you've added a new type to the game. Kudos there. But you've also added more and more of the older types, sometimes dropping up to 3 new sets of normal guardians on us. Now the big issue for me is the fact that aside from their image, nothing is radically different for me to want to have two or more of one type. I liked what you did with Whirly and Wooter (one with high Sp. Atk, the other with high Atk) but with some of the other elementals, there isn't much point in getting them all.

If I could make a suggestion...with the next updates and new gyms, please do continue to add new types but add more of that type (instead of just 2 sets) and less of the rest. If you're going to add a Poison type, get in one set with high defence and hp (a sponge), one with high attack and high defense (a tank), one with high speed and high special attack (a sweeper), etc. Then if you would like to release more guardians, maybe just one Nature and one Wind or what have you that might bring something new and different to the table that others of its type might not have.

Sorry one last thing.

You've already "borrowed" a lot of ideas from Pokemon, you could follow in their footsteps some more by means of this type issue. They have something insane like 15 or so types. You don't need all of those, but you could definitely do some. Or invent your own. Dragons been done but what about Dino? (I know it's not a far stretch but still). Or machine? (I dunno if you wanna go that route).

I love the game, don't get me wrong. I just wanna continue to play with the same enthusiasm and optimism and I think a little more diversity could help. It would also add to the strategy element of the game.
