Rebecca BeattieI just talked to the woman at the orchard and had to reload because it got stuck
After reloading I was on the teleporter as I was before ever speaking to her so i tried to walk past her and got I "I should clear up the Orchard issue" message even though I didn't have the quest yet (I think) She said she gave me a capture disc... and I have one but the sequence was not as good as it used to be... I never saw the disc until I looked for it. something is off here. |

Rebecca BeattieI like the new information boxes on the trainers in the southern forest. I just used my portable teleporter to go to the ranch so Grandma could heal my Guardians. On the way back I was able to port to the Southern Forest even though I havent walked that far yet.

Rebecca BeattieOk.... three thoughts
1) I am betting that the ability to teleport further than I have walked is a temporary thing. If I walk into the far south the capturing the thief quest redirects me to walk into the path. But I am able to use the far South teleporter pad even though it is in a clouded area and the trainers are above my level. This discrepancy could offer players options of playing slightly above their level if they wanted.. but now it is a bit confusing I think. 2) I have no idea about the energy balance in the game. I like that the energy refills several times during the day. It means that if I pick it up several times during the day I can play 3) I wish there was a different solution for running out of energy mid fight. The way it is now means that i leave the game with a bad feeling... I feel a dis-incentive to return. When I accidentally enter a fight and don't have the energy to finish I would like more (possibly all) of these option (I think): a) An Option to buy/use jellybeans (which we currently have) b) An Option to forfeit and go home (basically choose to loose) AND/OR c) An ability to go into negative numbers in energy for the duration of the fight... possibly with an energy/time penalty for doing so. So there would be a longer regeneration time... |

I keep going to the guardian page to use the healing potions (instead of inventory). I'd like the option to use the potions from the screen where I see my team. |

I opened the game and the first bit of text stopped and asked me to click before it would progress. I am famous for asking something to load and wandering off to the kitchen. the fact that it waited for a response from me meant I didn't miss the sequence. I think there were a few other bits like that. My apologies that I didn't respond sooner and don't remember what else was different.. but it was little things and a bit more polish from my perspective. |

Rebecca BeattieBTW I really like that I can battle the same trainers a second time... Makes training a new Guardian more meaningful. I hope that as the game progresses that there will be some types of Guardians that can only be found in the wild.

Rebecca Beattieok something I would like
I would like to see some types of guardians have a surge in stats or a decrease in stats when they are down to the last bit of energy... I'd like to see the surge or decrease to be a quality of the type of guardian. I keep expecting my opponent to get weaker at the end and hoping that I will have one valiant try. Yet i realize the opposite would add interest in the game too... having this effect identified with a type of guardian would add randomness before learning it and an item of strategy later |

Rebecca BeattieI just got to the place where the map is clear to the truck but not as far a Jill. I currently do not have the 21 trainer quest... I am not sure if i finished it or if I don't have it yet... either option doesn't seem like it's right. If I already finished it it must have counted each time I won over the same trainer.

Rebecca BeattieWhen I got the Jill quest in New Haven i lied about the guardian I had. I thought I posted about that but am not seeing it in this thread... a few times I posted and my puter crashed before the post registered...
My first elemental was Orkkidd My new one is Squidy. the text that Jill gave me as she delivered Squidy included something about fire.... I am sorry I glossed over it... don't know if this will help you... If I run the game another time i will try to lie again to see if the game does ok with that. |
