So I've been playing BW2 (kind of boring, don't like having to beg for energy every day) and was still playing BW1 and have finished all the quests except beating Gord in the arena. I have tried umpteen times, sometimes getting very close scores, but am about ready to give up. If I don't bother beating him does that affect anything in BW2? It seems like all the usual people are showing up.
