So I've been pretty content with how the game has been developing over time, but something I've noticed is the lack of diversity in the movepool. When we first are introduced to the game we see two guardians (Lizardo and Abrakadabra - sorry if I spelled them incorrectly). While we can only guess at their types (Normal and Psychic??) they use elemental moves. Not to mention the Yeti (and I'm not there yet but I'm assuming the Gryphon?).

This was an interesting element to the game; one that invariably created a sense of unpredictability and strategy. However, since that fateful scene, I've yet to see a guardian learn anything outside of their own type and the fallback Normal move.

Does this mean...
a) we will not have this opportunity for our own guardians?
b) only specific guardians (yet unreleased) will be able to do this?
c) eventually we will be able to buy compatible moves with our guardians? (ie. (Heroic) Puffiscratch will be able to learn Wind type moves (since he floats), Lizfu will be able to learn Rock moves (since he seems to have some sort of Rock armour), etc.
d) our guardians will learn some type of new move at a later level? or through a quest?

I'm interested to know where this will take us because right now things are pretty two dimensional...Nature guardian? Don't use Water. Use Fire. Moving on...

Apparently, there will be MGs who are of multiple element types. This has yet to be seen though...

I would very much like to see MGs learn more than one element to attack with, but I guess the devs are just wary of upset the game's balance. Still, the longer they wait, the more of an issue this will eventually become.
