Stephanie Hinkel BeckHas anyone else recently had issues with finding a lava ruby? I know it's random drop in the areas with lava, but I've been using A LOT of my energy the last couple of days in these areas alone, and haven't gotten one. Has never taken this long in previous weeks...not that big of a deal since I'm currently at max level, but after using a lot today as well, I started wondering if it was just me being impatient or whether there was a glitch. Thanks!!!

Lynelle Turley KleinAre you whacking in a zone that has lava in it? I am fairly certain that's what it says in the quest wording. I have a zone I prefer to whack in but doesn't have lava in it. I spent some time in that room (it was in the right zone, but no lava) and then remembered the wording of the quest. So, I went to a room with lava and found it pretty fast.

Stephanie Hinkel BeckYes, have tried all of the zones with lava....since this quest started, I've gotten it fairly quickly every week, but this week just can't seem to find one!

Stephanie Hinkel BeckLOL....seriously, maybe I needed to post this a couple of days ago! I used a full amount of energy this morning, just went back in to whack a couple of bushes, and got one only using two quick zaps (or whatever they're called). Ok, no glitch - I guess I just am impatient! :)

Melody October MayI usually do this one when I'm doing other quests, and I have "questor's favorite" spell activated. That seems to speed it up, a LOT.

Rebecca Beattiesome of the quests that have drops like the lava ruby and the samari turtle seem to have uneven drop rates. I usually get my turtle fast but every so often it takes a bunch longer.... I think that if I get the quest then go do something else and come back it goes faster... but that could be my imagination... (that turtle is giving me a hard way to go today)

Elise Taplin VenableI have used up two full days worth of energy and I haven't gotten the lava ruby. I haven't had a problem before. I get that it's a random drop, but it's kind of frustrating. :(

Melody October MayOooo - hopefully this is a one-time only frustration for you. I know that, like Rebecca, most times I'll just breeze thru a quest, but then, all of a sudden, it will take forever to get that question accomplished.
I'm sorry it's taking so long, Elise - got my fingers crossed for you that that danged ruby pops up! Just to let you know, the zone that I seem to have the fastest luck with it is the Lava River. |

Monica DykemanRebecca, when the turtle is giving you a hard time, try fishing in a hole, then switching, abandoning that hole and moving on. Do that a couple of times and the turtle seems to pop up *shrug*

Elise Taplin VenableTook another 2000+ energy with the Questor's Favor spell activated to get it. I understand it's random .. but you would think after a certain amount of energy had been spent, it might up your odds a bit :/

Monica DykemanThere is only one place to look, The Heart Of the Jungle. That's the square that has the glowing heart and 3 or 4 bushes. Don't bother looking anywhere else. I always get the water in just a few quick whacks.

RaymondEVery quest tells you where to go.
That quest in particular is very explicit on where to go. And the Maps 'show active quest' really helps on that quest too. |
