In BW1, I could activate my power whack and then go quick whack to hit a random bush.

In BW2, this doesn't seem to work anymore (the power is not used when I quick whack).

Any particular reason this was changed?

On a logical level, I don't prefer one way over the other (although it is a little annoying that I have to change my playing style ;)) but it made me curious about whether this was an intentional change and why that would be.
