1 Posts	Link to post - Posted April 28th 2012 at 8:04 PM Richie Martinez I found out that my fireslash must be lvl 31 to evolve in to firestomp, so when it lvl up to lvl 30 this message came up saying things about how it's gonna be a lot harder to level up and I just didn't understand any of that message so can anyone clarify what it meant?
253 Posts	Link to post - Posted April 29th 2012 at 11:47 AM Marc Kriguer The current "soft cap" is level 30 - it takes the "normal" amount of energy to go from level 29 to level 30 (and all levels up to that point), but it currently takes a lot more energy to get from level 30 to level 31 (I think it's something like 4 times the energy it took to reach level 30) than it will to reach level 31 after they raise the cap. It's certainly possible - I have 4 of my guardians up to level 31 already - but when they do raise the caps (that is, the next time there's a major update and more content is added), if you had already earned enough XP to reach level 31 (if the soft cap hadn't been there), then your guardian will retain exactly the required XP to be level 31.
