It does not show on my map, the completed quests shows it as repeatable, and when I'm in the mad scientist castle, the question mark referring back to the main map, shows it can be started. p.s. I have a feeling that it was in the easter maps that I can't access anymore.

The chest and the giant show up when they show up, you can't force them (well Raymond says you can, but I never have). If it's not showing in your active quest log, then it will show u eventually.
