Greetings Bush Whackers! The next developer forum Q&A begins Monday January 6th at 1 PM to 2 PM Pacific (or 8-9 UTC).

Feel free to post your questions in advance if you're unable to attend, and I'll try to answer all the questions during the live session.

I think the date for the next Developer Q & A is meant to be Monday January 6th.

A few small suggestions: For the next Nate's Birthday Event: Holograph Projector ranch items; with the ability to purchase more from the Store if so desired. Also, the ability to rotate the fireplaces from lit to unlit, if it isn't too difficult to do. And lastly, for any Event, LTQ, etc. electric fencing or something that looks like electric fencing; as well as invisible fencing (for the Dog Days of Summer Event) to restrain pets into certain areas or keep pets from going into someplace you only want visitors to go (gives friends the chance to visit your ranch and island house while keeping pets out, or keeping certain pets inside while others stay outside). The latter might be a bit too technically inclined, so no worries if so.

1- seeing how the end of year is near, i was thinking of some things we could have for final rewards from events, like we have had trees this year,
lanterns 2-5 years ago, etc, listed below is some idea's

- Matryoshka dolls A.K.A stacking dolls
- a train set, with each train carriage & engine we would also get 2 train tracks , each would be painted to suite each event
- a jigsaw puzzle, and when all pieces are put together makes a big floor covering

2- allow any ranch items from previous events to be buyable in the store, there is some items from 5+ years ago that should be buyable in the store, that look good

3- how come when i have changed my username/player name it takes weeks to change but other players, it happens almost instantly, it seems like a glitch to me, or something.

4- there is a feature in VIP where you can reset quests/hubs etc, and there is a few players i know that have been using this for the new hub, which has made them advance further in the new hub than other players, i suggest you put a restriction on using the Quest VIP reset and have a waiting period to be able to use it next ,like around 48hrs or even more.


5- here is a few idea's i came up with for our ranch

- Flame fence/hedge

- Electric fence/hedge

- a rustic looking windmill

- A Moat, but we can buy it in pieces like the golf pieces straights,corners or crossroads and
NO RESTRICTIONS on what we can put on the moat too

- TREE'S/SHRUBS - eucalyptus tree, Acacia/wattle, a flame tree Brachychiton acerifolius in flower with butterflies hovering around

- a bird bath

Customisable items - hats,capes and swords etc

- a metal detector - sword - either nate b'day event or junior whacker
- a snake sword
- a stethoscope - cape
- a medallion similair that of Dr Strange's
- a nurse/doctors shirt
- a akubra, pork pie or homburg hat



# this idea came from player Blahramewe: It would help a lot if making runes the success chance had a small boost every time you fail.

An idea for next Christmas: A daily Feat of Strength quest from the Festivus guy once the pole is up. This could take the form of a "miniboss bush" that takes over the pole which has 30-40 HP.

Can we get a teleporter in the new hub we can use to go to the flux/flungeon.


Also going forward any time gating im fine with that but can u have the town crier give us a timer for when the next part opens if possible.

The holograph projector would make a great ranch item. I've noted it down to consider!

The lit/unlit fire idea is neat. It's a bit of an art request, depending on how they're drawn. We'll consider this.

Fences for the wandering ranch critters has been an issue for a while. They're kind of "boosting" each other over the fence. It's on our list to look for a solution to that.

1) These are some great event collectable ideas! I've noted these down.

2) Most past event store items should be available in each event's prior item store. Regarding being able to buy multiples, I've been adding these on a case-by-case basis, so let me know what items in particular you should be able to buy multiples of and I'll consider doing so.

3) I'm not sure on the specifics of the delay seen when changing your player name, but last I recall it's somewhat inherit in the system and not necessarily worth the dev time to work around it.

4) VIP is designed as a way for players to accelerate their gameplay, and doing their quest hub dailies more rapidly is an expected way to apply this benefit.

5) These are great ranch/custom suggestions! Noted.

#) A crafting success boost on every fail would be a nice feature for sure. I'll think about it as a potential alchrafter certificate bonus!

That's a neat idea! I'll note it down to consider for the next Christmas event.

Yup, it's on my list to add a Port-Co. teleporter to the new hub. I'll consider adding a countdown to the Crier.
