jpl77Hey Nick,
Can you explain how the event works? I don't follow how the teams were selected and how the completion of the quests by individual players affect the team school. It seems like the mechanism is unbalanced with the current match scores. |

IamGrootIf I remember correctly, last run Nick gave us the option to acquire all the trophies even though our "team" didn't win. (if that helps)

jpl77It doesn't help as the last time it was ran, it resulted in a time, hence all players got all trophies.
This year it was modified and now it appears to be extremely unbalanced, with no hope of 2 of the teams being able to win. |

Nickshire (CNE Dev)Here are some details that might better explain the current tournament scores:
1. All 3 teams have approximately the same number of players. 2. The Soccer Ball spawn odds for each match quest is the same for all players regardless of team. 3. Each player can add a maximum of 40 points for their team each match. One per ball. 40 balls per match. 4. Some players may not be able to kick all 40 of their balls every match, depending on how much time and energy they dedicate to playing Bush Whacker 2. Because not all players are expected to complete all 40 balls per match, each team's score will not be the same despite having a similar number of players. This is the reason why the scores are not the same. Should we run the tournament again in a future year, we can consider adding a catch-up mechanic, somehow, that could keep the games tighter. |

jpl77Groot, sorry no that does not help. I'm talking more of what Nick mentioned about balancing the teams.
Nick, a game mechanic would be more fair.... not sure how the game picked players in the first place to place in any division. Was it first come first serve? Was there some mechanic based on player level that decided where to place them? You already have a lot of work to do, but it seems like BIFA needs leagues and divisions. |

Nickshire (CNE Dev)It was a first-come-first-serve team assignment, assigning players to the team with the least number of players.
In the case of all teams having the same number of players, it would pick the team with the worse individual player rankings. Leagues and divisions would be an improvement, certainly. I've noted this down to consider should I decide to run this again. |
