3397 Posts	Link to post - Posted May 21st at 1:04 PM Nickshire (CNE Dev) Greetings Bush Whackers! The next developer forum Q&A begins Monday June 3rd at 1 PM to 2 PM Pacific (or 8-9 UTC). Feel free to post your questions in advance if you're unable to attend, and I'll try to answer all the questions during the live session.
774 Posts	Link to post - Posted May 27th at 12:21 AM Last Edited June 3rd at 3:40 AM Russel Denton 1- Due to the recent tampering with the spring event contest, myself and others players i'm guessing are wondering what does CNE intend to do about it and to prevent future tampering attempts, and if the culprit is found, will they be banned for good perhaps i have a few idea's fo CNE to prevent any foreseeable tampering attempts: - increase/get better security for servers etc - have a staff member perhaps pop in the office on weekends to check servers, and game to make sure things are going smoothly 2-Mini-events - rewards, the current Endangered species event was good but a few players were saying they were only getting topazes from the questers satchel which is not good, it has been suggested in past Q/A's , to improve rewards please, and perhaps make it appropriate to match the level a player is at too 3- GNOME idea's JURASSIC PARK/JURASSIC WORLD - Allan Grant - Ian Malcom - Ellie Satler - John Hammond - Dennis Nedry - Owen Grady - Claire Dearing MEN IN BLACK - Agent J - Agent K - Frank the Pug OTHER MOVIES - Austin Powers - Inspector Jacque clouseau (Pink Panther movies) 4- Runes So runes last X amount of days and at most a player only uses half of those days , if you think about it, because when we sleep our runes are still "Active", so we are loosing the chance etc if using them, so what I'm saying is we have a on/off switch for our runes which we can turn them off/on when we want to use them or go to bed or have a job to go to etc

Several months ago you said, "Fixing that is on my todo list." Is this something you still plan on working on?

We're considering adding some restrictions to reporting and voting to prevent the same issues from happening in future photo contests. 2) I do agree the Quester's Satchel drops deserve a re-evaluation, and will consider that for the next Quality of Life upate. 3) Great list of gnomes! We'll see if we can sneak 'em in for future content somewhere. Maybe the Dino Dig for the Jurassic Park gnomes. 4) Justin balanced the Rune expiry with the assumption players wouldn't be playing the game all the time. And doing it this way does give players the option to play more to make better use of the runes should they choose to, but a small amount of daily play should still benefit from using runes.

It's not a high priority compared to other tasks, but it's still on my todo list to consider. Sorry for the delay.
