The next developer forum Q&A begins Monday February 13th at 1 PM to 2 PM Pacific (or 8-9 UTC). Feel free to post your questions in advance if you're unable to attend, and I'll try to answer all the questions during the live session.

While I am glad you have the name of the area below the "Store" and "Get bucks" buttons, it is difficult, after all the fields are completed, to know which field is which. This is important for when a mission tells you to meet someone in "Field x of say, the Molten Core and you have no idea how the fields are numbered.
532 Posts	Link to post - Posted February 9th 2023 at 11:29 PM Matthew Kliparchuk Hi nick im sure this has been requested before but for xmas/winter months can we can get ice fishing on our lake and a ice fishing hut that we can put with new fish and CI pets and mounts. Fish would be bushlyian loach a play on the hylian loach from orcarainia of time you could even fit it in with the dock fishing quest line or with the xmas event.

If for instance (as it is such a favorite one of all of us) we could exchange jr whacker and try something new. Just a thought. Or, we could have a Cats day of autumn instead of dog days. Shake things up a bit. Even Halloween and the Spring events were mentioned in chat in the "Let's kick them to the side of the road." So, if you need to make room for another event. There's room for a breath of fresh air! 2) We could have a mystery event; where no one knows who the killer is. Like, if you'd have been there. If you'd have seen it. How to host a party! Following the clues. Like : A haunted mansion, moving pictures, graveyards ect. (I've been watching too many old movies.) Bring in Inspector Kaine and give him a workout! :D 3) Thanx for the Star Peace and the Dr. What events. Only, I'm sorry I couldn't afford the garbage cans. I felt bad. But, I did pick up Princess Lola and the Weeping Angel statue. Also, I bought ten dollars of the crystal seeds and ten dollars of the gardening science grow. 4) It was nice being able to buy something for five or ten dollars instead of a whopping twenty dollars a crack. Thanx, it's just bad timing for us. I just thought you ought to know the two mini-events were very successful. 5) Any further news on the VW Bugs mounts or the windmill for the garden? I'm still wondering if we'll see them. Also we'd break the bank for a fairy horse mount or a cosmonaut companion.(see princess Lola is no longer on my list of wish fors lol) Thanks again. I can't say it enough for you to remember it! 6) Is there any news on an upcoming premium golf piece or pieces or a piece or two for our ranches that will give bonuses to us and our friends? Would like a heads up on that beforehand so I won't miss it. 7) Finally, when are the pasture and the zoo set to debut? HKE

Godzilla/Mothra/random Kaiju has turned up in Pompei or Port Black City or Sanctuary Village. They have destroyed part of the area. Bushwhacker has to drive off the intruder and then collect supplies/tools to rebuild. You could have the monster turn up at a random time each year and in a different area. By the way, I wouldn't mind having a mech mount. Once we get on the mount, you wouldn't see Bushwhacker any more, just the giant mech.
774 Posts	Link to post - Posted February 13th 2023 at 12:31 AM Russel Denton 1- adding onto to vegan's idea about adding some new events, i have a few i would like to see: - seeing how some players live paycheck to paycheck (slight exacteration, but you get what i mean ) why not have a event/mini- event where it knows what pets/mounts you DO NOT HAVE, like in the creatures of coppers event does, and you can only pick 1 that you want and for the whole event you are doing quests to get that 1 pet mount before the end of the event - a recycling mini-event where we fish up junk and make stuff for our ranch or to wear, i made a thread about this 5+ yrs ago 2- can we please see more of the endangered species event, i know i sent you and georgia a list of animals you could use lol

I do sometimes find myself wandering through a zone from its entrance to recall the order of the fields. Having them labeled on the area map would be a great improvement. I'll note this down to consider for a future update.

And it would be fun to make your ranch fishing hole more unique. I'll note this down to consider.

We prefer to pilot them via mini-events before having them replace a main event. Based on past survey results, we do have a list of least-liked events we could rotated out with a new event. Its something we're considering for sure! 2) A murder mystery event would be a lot of fun! Kind of like an event re-imagining of the Kaine mystery. I'll note this down. 3) So glad you liked the returning limited time quests these past few weeks! 4) I appreciate the feedback. We'll take it into consideration regarding future package deals. 5) The Volkswagon Bug mount and Windmill ranch item are still on our list for Georgia to consider creating for BW2! And I'll see about having the fairy horse and cosmonaut return. 6) Georgia and I are focused on the Pasture update for now, but we'll see about introducing more visitor-capable ranch items later this year! 7) The Pasture update will be ready when it's ready, haha! I did overcome a big technical hurdle last week, so we'll see how long the remainder of it takes. Getting it out later this month would be swell!

When you talk about adding something instead of taking something out, are you referring to the proposal to swap out an old event for a new one? If so, we'd like to do it this way so it's manageable for Georgia and I's production schedule. Specifically, one big main event a month, with one or two mini-events/limited-time quests on the other weekends. Your Kaiju event suggestion is really neat! I'll note it down to consider :D A mech mount would be a lot of fun! Closest thing we have is the Egg Mech, which I will say is a far cry from a typical mech. We'll see if Georgia will make one for us!

It does sound very compelling. Same for the fishing mini-event, which does sound very familiar. I'll note them both down to consider if they're not already on there. 2) Certainly! I think Georgia likes creating the animals for the Endangered Species mini-events too. I'll see if we can squeeze one into the content calendar. We already have your suggestions on hand!
