Frankly, having multiple Witches and Zombies floating around is throwing off my decorating vibe. I'd like to control how many I have, but once they are added, you can't remove them.
THIS IS ANNOYING!! Especially when there's a contest involving how your haunted house looks. I'm disinclined to even enter the contest because of this.

You can remove items and place them back into your inventory by entering your Haunted Mansion and clicking on the move to inventory icon on the bottom right toolbar. It looks like a small box with an arrow pointing down. It is directly to the left of the $ icon. (works the same as when you are in your ranch build mode)

No, these are the "special" decorations and they can't be removed that way.

I just tested it out and the witches and zombies can be removed by the method I described.

You must first click on the "move to inventory icon" and then click on the items you want to remove.

If you aren't able to view your toolbar (bottom right of your game screen, while inside the haunted mansion), try changing to Full Screen.

If these suggestions aren't working for you, I suggest that you submit a ticket to Nick. Good Luck.

My apologies for taking so long to say THANK YOU!!
I had tried for two days to use the "move to inventory" icon to remove the unwanted "floaties" to no avail. I just gave up trying and assumed it was because they weren't the same kind of decorations as the rest. But since everyone insisted it should work I tried one more time and voila!! It did finally work! NO idea why it didn't work before, but it's water under the bridge now. :) :)
Thanks for everyone's advice!
