ok so the idea is this: it's near the start of Digimon Adventure 02 in or around the episode where the Digimon Emperor/Kaiser is toying with Davis/Daisuke by seeming to have his friends captive and in danger(via a group of disguised bakemon under their control). but with the idea that LONG before Taichi and the Others(about 2 years(2 years = about 4000 years in the Digital World) before Taichi first saw the Digimon, a small town was teleported into the Digital World over time the residents befriended the Digimon,leading to basically everyone in said town having a Digimon companion,leading to some of them having a romantic relationship with their Digimon,leading to well...you get the idea, the result being a technologically advanced,self-sustaining,techno-magically shielded and hidden mega-city of human-Digimon hybrids that by default look like humans(with anime-ish details such as naturally green,gravity-defying hair or such) and have Digimon-like powers for example shoot a fireball form their hand and they can transform into large,powerful semi-humanoid looking Digimon kind-of like Digimon Frontier but instead of calling upon "spirits" or whatever ,they like "will" the transformation that instead of being "magical" like that is more like those new werewolf moves you know where they writhe in pain as they slowly "morph" into the "werewolf" where you can hear their bones cracking/moving,see their skin stretch out and such as they change? that kind-of transformation and they can do it at will and can/WILL remain in Digimon form till they "will" themselves back to human form with the ability to partially transform as well:for example remain "human" but sprout like claws or demon wings. one of these Digi-humans left their secret city and set about rebelling against the Digimon Emperor/Kaiser by himself and he meets the Digimon Adventure 02 group as the others arrive to help Davis/Daisuke fight off the Digimon Emperor/Kaiser.
